Gorgeous New Lakefront Home on Smith Mountain Lake with 180 Degree Water Views

We loved Serenity and will definitely be going back! We spent a long weekend there to celebrate my birthday and it was our first time visiting SML. First of all, the lake is gorgeous and the location of Serenity is a perfect spot on the lake. There were 2 families consisting of 4 adults, 2 toddlers (2 y/o), and 2 dogs. Serenity has a large backyard right on the lake. It's on a bit of an incline so you get a good workout if you walk back and forth from the house to the dock a few times (or even once in my case!). The home is spacious and has beautiful views of the lake. The layout is very accommodating for multiple families, especially with there being a kitchen on the bottom floor. We used the 2 bedrooms on the main level for one family, and the 2 bedrooms on the bottom level for the other family. There is a boat ramp convenient to the house so you don't have to go far to put your boat in the water. There is a Food Lion about 20 minutes away and restaurants about 25 minutes away. We ate at the Cancun Mexican restaurant one night that was really good! I think we will go back about mid-October next year to take advantage of the trees in full color. It was very pretty this time of year, but most of the trees had already lost their leaves. I would definitely recommend staying at Serenity! The home was wonderful and the owner was a pleasure to work with. He even let us check-in early to accommodate nap schedules for our kids!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Serenity. The home is very inviting and cozy with great views of the Lake. Loved the hot tub after a day of boating. The owner was very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend this home!

Serenity is wonderful! Six of us enjoyed a weekend on the lake in this well appointed home that expressed ALOHA as soon as we entered. Make sure you take all your gear and food bc you will not want to leave. 2 kitchens were a big plus... and we were very happy that the hot tub was well maintained and ready to use upon arrival. In one weekend we watched the sun, the clouds, rain, and lightning move across the main channel. At midnite a full moon made the lake look like ice. We wanted to stay here forever!
