Santa Fe Fantastic

Don & Kathy Hunter Denver, CO
Review Submitted: October 5, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Best little 5 day vacation we've ever had! This home was absolutely perfect and so much more that we expected. Rita and Tom were waiting for us when we arrived and showed us where everything was at. We prepared our breakfasts and 2 dinners in a very well equiped kitchen and that really helped with the travel budget! The beds were comfortable and all the rooms were nicely decorated.

The guys golfed and the girls walked down to the Plaza and shopped till we dropped. We took a day trip up to Taos and stopped in Chimayo to see a very pretty little church. Don't miss the Georgia O'Keefe Museum and the Loretto Chapel. We enjoyed a really nice dinner at the Pink Adobe, recommended by Rita, We also enjoyed the Cafe Paris very much, for lunch one afternoon and dinner one night.
The Farmers Market on Saturday morning near Guadalupe and Peralta is not to be missed, lots of friendly people, produce, baked goods, flowers and craft work...WOW! Go hungry :) We hope to return next year!

Adobe Casita

Muggs Tampa, Florida
Review Submitted: September 23, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
We spent the month of July 2009 in this beautiful casita. We loved the architectrue and details of the adobe casita. The house is stocked with everything a person needs to enjoy a vacation including internet access and is spotlessly clean.

We walked to the plaza almost every day as there were concerts at noon and in the evening. The people watching and shopping are such fun. We particularly enjoyed the 4th of July and the Spanish festival in the plaza.

We ate out often. The food in New Mexico is great. Our favorite spots were the Guadalupe Cafe, Tijkuana Flats and Gabriels.

There are beautiful day trips to take in the mountains. We did some hiking and a few picnics.

We enjoyed an evening at the Opera. It is worth the time even if you do not like opera. The outdoor opera house is worth a visit.

Tom and Rita and their son made us feel very much at home. They are lovely people and have a charming casita.

A wonderful place to explore Santa Fe

korval Northern CA
Review Submitted: April 24, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
I was lucky enough to spend 4 months in this very comfortable casita. It is within walking distance of Santa Fe's wonderful downtown and the many museums and restaurants it has to offer.

The casita is fully furnished with everything a traveler could need. It's well maintained, quiet, comfortable and has great high speed internet. It has a washer and dryer which any regular traveler can appreciate.

The owners Rita and Tom are great. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Check out the Casita Tomas binder they have compiled with recommendations on places to see and restaurants to check out in the Santa Fe area.

I hope to come back again. Santa Fe is a beautiful city and the casita is a excellent place to base explorations. I highly recommend it to singles or couples who want to explore the extraordinary beauty of this area.

Thanks Rita and Tom!

Charming and Convenient Casita

BellaFinnie Austin, Texas/U.S.A.
Review Submitted: November 20, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
My husband John and I happily spent the entire month of August, 2008, at Casita Tomas! We found it very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly want. The owners, Rita and Tom, were very thoughtful and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They provided lots of helpful local information, and were only a phone call away any time we needed them. The casita's location was also superb: within easy walking distance of the Plaza, the library, the post office, the cathedral, museums, art galleries, and a variety of wonderful restaurants. Several excellent hiking trails were just minutes away by car. We would gladly return to Casita Tomas over and over!
