Description of the Big Bass Lake vacation chalet rental
We're all booked for the summer weeks, but you can still take advantage of our lower, off-season rates! Weather and lake can be great in June and September. Come relax and enjoy our beautiful spacious contemporary vacation chalet. This well-kept home offers a kitchen, eating area, family room, large screened porch and deck on the main floor which overlook the lake. One can also enjoy views of the lake from the other 3 bedrooms and the large, finished walkout basement with ping pong and air hockey. The living room has a cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace. The lake is 35-feet away from our deck with our private dock and rowboat for your enjoyment. The lake provides excellent fishing opportunities for bass, perch, bluegill and pickerel. This fishing is great using ultra-light gear. A bait store is located just a half mile away. Winter also allows for ice fishing. Due to the excellent condition of our vacation home, we have a no smoking, no pet policy. Limit 8 persons, limit 3 cars.

The four-season Pocono resort of Big Bass Lake, located in Gouldsboro, PA, is just 2 hours from New York City or Philadelphia. Centrally located in the scenic Pocono Mountains, Big Bass Lake is within a distance of 30 minutes from many attractions, including ski resorts, outlet shopping, golfing, water sports, tourist attractions and much more. All this while still in a peaceful area of the dark starlit skies! Resort Activities: The Big Bass community offers many amenities, some of them seasonal, such as 2 beaches, a clubhouse, heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, bocce courts, playground, nature reserve, recreation center, family ski slope with rope pull, sledding and tubing hill, outdoor ice rink, heated indoor pool, and more. Use of the resort facilities, including lakes, requires a badge for each person 6 years and up at a cost (currently) of $6 per day or $30 per week. A Pennsylvania fishing license is required for fishing and the State regulations apply.

Our Home: We provide a supply of soap, dish and laundry detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, plastic wrap, aluminum foil and coffee filters, although, depending on amount of use, renters may need to supplement with their own. Central air conditioning, ceiling fans in living room, loft, family room and screened porch, various sizes of life jackets. Snow shoes available upon request. Our large, finished walkout basement also has an air hockey table.
