Mont Tremblant is ranked the #1 ski resort in Eastern North America by Ski magazine. It is a large year round resort, best known as a ski destination. It is also surrounded by lakes and golf courses for the summer months. There are now year round activities for all seasons.
Mont Tremblant is located about 90 minutes north of Montreal. You can get to Mont Tremblant with any flight to Montreal. You can also get there directly via the Mont Tremblant International Airport. They now have seasonal direct flights from New York (Newark) with Continental Airlines.
In addition to the Mont Tremblant area there are other nearby ski areas to include Grey Rocks and St. Sauveur. There are shops and restaurants in the Village of St. Bernard at Mont Tremblant that is only minutes away. St. Jovite (AKA as Mont Tremblant) is a short drive away and is a quaint charming village with sidewalk cafes and little boutiques. There are 3 fully provisioned grocery stores in this village to include Provigo, IGA, and Metro with deli's-bakeries- and fresh produce. There is everything that you need right at your fingertips!
