At the beginning of the Cape Cod National Seashore, is the cutest of Old Cape Cod studio cottages. One room with queen bed, full kitchen area and 1/2 bath with outside shower. Patio with table and chairs. In the woods, Old Cape Cod calm and quiet. Minister Pond (around 23 acres!) is just down the dirt driveway. The best place to sit and relax and get to know your own thoughts again. Listen to the owls and tree frogs at night, and dozens of birds all day. Lovely, rustic, old Cape Cod cottage on Minister Pond. Relax in this quiet, private setting with frogs, lily pads, and the serenity of the Lower Cape. Located in the woods with trees and tranquility. Just down the block from the National Park Service/Seashore Visitor's Center and less than 1/2 mile to the Cape Cod Bike Trail. 1 1/2 miles to ocean or bay beaches on either side. Location, location, location. Wooded pond front. Lots of fish. Private, calm and comfortable. Outer Cape quiet. Sleeps 2. Lowest weekly rate on water.

Nearest Ferry: Nantucket at 35 Miles
Nearest Motorway: Route 6 and Nauset Road at 25 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 1.0 Miles

At the beginning of the Cape Cod National Seashore, this cottage is in a quiet neighborhood in the woods and Minister pond is just down the driveway. Swim, fish, or bring your kayak or canoe from our little beach area. The National Park Visitor's Center is a quarter mile away, and is the hub from which to hike nature trails to world renowned Coast Guard and Nauset Light beaches. Cape Cod Rail-trail bike path runs for miles in either direction and is just a quarter mile away as well. One and a half miles to either ocean or bay beaches, this is the best of all worlds. 30 minutes to Provincetown and the tip of the Cape in one direction, to Hyannis and Hyannisport in the other. Old Cape Cod calm and tranquility, but everything you need nearby. You won't believe your luck finding this gem on Cape Cod.

More about our location:: Eastham is at the start of the Cape Cod National Seashore, that runs 30 miles, all the way to the tip of Cape Cod in Provincetown. The U.S. National Park Service has a beautiful visitor's center (Salt Pond Visitor's Center) just a few blocks away, with walking and bike trails that go in the woods and to the beach. Truly the best of the natural beauty of Cape Cod, but with everything you need within a few miles, including the best visual and theater arts and great shopping and kids and adults restaurants. Ocean and Bay beaches are around 1 1/2 miles east and west of our pond. You couldn't ask for anything more from your time on Cape Cod.

And about the cottage...: There are pillows and extra blankets if you'd like to use ours. Other than that, please bring your own bed and bath linens. Cancellation info: Refund as soon as re-rented.

We really liked this little cottage! It's in a perfect location. It's within a bike's ride or walk to the National Seashore and the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It's small and not fancy, but very clean and adequate for our needs. We had a nice time and felt right at home there. It was very relaxing We would rent this cottage again.
