The 'Shack on the Sand' is an attitude not just a place. The beach at the door produces a feeling of relaxation and calm. The bright clean comfortable rooms can't help but make you feel sunny. All of the extras and art work will certainly make you feel welcome. My guests joke that if it isn't here, you don't need it. Besides all of the appliances and electronics, there are reference books about local birds, mammals, marine life and plants. There are also local history books as well as a computer and High Speed access to the Internet. We are 28 miles from the Tampa airport. There is a beach trolley that runs every 20 minutes as well as the bus routes that cover the entire region. There are at least 8 restaurants within five minutes walking distance. A few guests take a shuttle from the airport and never drive at all while they enjoy being beach bums.

Ann's Shack on the Sand is the most wonderful, quiet and relaxing get away
destination. Delicious seafood is a one minute walk away at Crabby Bills. We brought
take out back to the condo so we could stay in our suits and get right back to the beach.
We got the most beautiful shells every morning and saw lots of sea life, including
dolphins. The condo is sparkling clean and very homey. We can't wait to go back next
year!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

This place was even better than advertised. We relaxed and watched the water from the kitchen, livingroom, porch and beach! Everything that we needed and more was in the condo. It was great fun to go through all the cupboards drawers and desk. The "Shack on the Sand" is a great name but it is an understatement.
