Superb Getaway for Relaxation any Time of the Year!!!

Upstairs unit with front deck facing the Gulf!! The Living/Dining/Kitchen Combination is open and faces the Beach.

The best description is Comfortable, Cozy and Clean Beach Accommodations with a Water View. Designated parking with two (2) spaces. Boat & Trailer parking allowed temporarily with special permission.

Our unit is one of five. Not all are rentals. Buildings were not originally built as condominiums. Responsible and considerate tenants are appreciated by all.

Commercial Laundry's are in the area, or use our shared laundry room. Conservative Hint: Dry your towels and re-use them.

The beach has protected Turtle nests May - October & all beach-facing lighting is kept to low levels per regulations in their interests. Also pets must be controlled and everyone must pick-up after their pets on the property and beach.

St. George has great restaurants within walking distance and is a great place to take your bicycles, strollers, golfcarts, skatebaords, etc.. One third of the island is a beautifully protected Beach & Bay Front park.

Historic Apalachicola has several award winning Restaurants, Antique shops, Waterfront establishments and numerous unique places to visit. Various kinds of Tours are available of surrounding estuaries, bays, botanical gardens, cemetaries, unpopulated islands, etc..

FAMILY VACATION

This was our second time staying at this unit. Debra is very easy to work with as far as payment options. The unit is nice and clean. Plenty of Kitchen items. It would have been nice to have had better cable. There were only 2 working T.V.'s and the cable package only consisted of 17 channels. Most of these channels were local. Not that we go to the beach to watch tv but I have 3 kids and it is nice to watch some television before you go to bed. Overall, very happy with the unit and the owners. Would stay again.

NICE PLACE AND A GREAT STAY

We recently stayed at this property for a week and it was our first time. We do not know Debra and Duane personally, but I can tell you they are very nice people and easy to work with. The place has been very well maintained, was very clean and smelled nice and fresh. I noticed someone had complained sometime ago that there not being enough cooking utensils so I wanted to be very clear: my wife likes to cook and I can tell you there were more than enough utensils to use, in fact we were surprised by how much there was to use. I found both Duane and Debra easy to reach and easy to work with. Debra via email is always responsive and Duane is easily accessible via the phone. The only thing I’d point out even though it is mentioned on VRBO is there is no working washing machine or dryer, although Debra did say they are working to correct that. The location is great, very quiet, about a 1 mile short walk to town and easy access to the beach directly across and to the left of the property.

We really liked it and plan to be back in October as well as to make it a reoccurring event.

If anyone has any question, I will gladly respond.

We're scheduling a plumber to get a water line leak repaired so the Laundry Room can be utilized again very soon. And, we're getting ready to make our usual "Spring Cleaning and Repair" trips - one in April and another in May to make sure everything is in order for the remaining Spring and a busy Summer season!!!

My husband and I stayed at this property for a month in February 2014. We found it comfortable and convenient to the beach. It was clean and adequately furnished. The owner was very responsive if we had questions or needed her for any purpose. The location was wonderful as it was right across the street from a beautiful section of the St. George Island beach. All in all, we had a wonderful time on St. George Island. It was our first time visiting the area but definitely will not be our last.

GREAT STAY!

We had a wonderful weekend. The house was clean with a fully stocked kitchen, tvs, beach toys, etc. The area was VERY dog friendly, and full of bike paths for our three kids. The beach was just a short walk away! Our only complaint is that the weekend went too fast. Debra was wonderful to work with, and was easy to reach!!! We can't wait to go back!!!!

COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR MORE!

The only thing separating this house from the beach is a small, two lane road that didn't get much traffic while we were there. Although dated, this place has clearly been well maintained and had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and the entire house was very clean. Prior to our stay, we had spent day trips on St. George Island, so we knew we'd like the area and it definitely didn't disappoint. We love that the area is dog friendly and everyone we encountered was lovely. Throughout our days on the beach, multiple people stopped to talk to us and we even got to witness a wedding! Debra, the owner, was both responsive and accommodating. My husband, my dogs and I are already looking forward to our next stay here.

RECENT VISITOR TO THIS CONDO

My husband and I spent several days at this condo for Valentine's Day and as always had a wonderful visit. We've been there many times before over the past several years since we discovered it, so obviously we love staying there! It is very dog friendly, another great thing! I also rent once a year with girl friends for a girl's getaway. Perfect for that as well! Lots of great beach to lie on and the condo has a fabulous view of the ocean. It's a well equipped with any kitchen items that might be needed, is always clean and ready on arrival, and very comfortable. The owners are very hands on and available, another plus. The restaurants in Apalachacola, just across the bridge, are great, and the many shops are fun to visit. We enjoy Boss Oyster - our favorite, as well as many others . Also on SGI we like Harry A's. SGI is a beautiful place to be, and this condo is the place to stay!!
