We want you to enjoy our 'home away from home'. You will love the Durango area where there are so many activities to do and places to see. Our home is also ideal for relaxing in front of the fireplace (we provide the wood) and enjoying the amazing, unobstructed view of the mountains that are visible through almost every window. The view is definitely hard to beat. The condo itself features tile and carpet flooring. It is newly painted throughout with new furnishings. The upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and a full sleeper sofa with a TV connected to cable and DVD player. The downstairs bedroom features twin beds with a TV not connected to cable but has a DVD player for those late night movies. The living room features a full sleeper sofa, a wet bar and a brand new flat screen TV with built in DVD player. Make sure you take a ride on the Durango to Silverton Railroad and visit historic downtown Durango to shop and enjoy the many great restaurants -we can tell you about those!

Our condo is located just 1 1/2 miles north of Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory). Horseback riding, cross country skiing, bobsleds,and sleigh rides are also 1 1/2 miles away. Fishing and hiking just outside the door. Durango-Silverton Railroad station is 10 minutes away. Downtown Durango only 20 minutes away

Wintertime in Durango: If you are looking for a ski vacation - look no further. Our condo is location 1 1/2 miles north of Durango Mountain Resort (formerly known as Purgatory) for downhill skiing and snowboarding. Shuttles run every 30 minutes back and forth to the resort. Nestled at 9,000 feet with unbelievable views of Engineer Mountain, Spud Mountain and the Needles Mountains. Also just 1 1/2 miles down the road you can experience Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobiling, Tubing, and Sleigh Rides. If you arrive before Christmas you will want to ride on the Polar Express Steam Railroad.

Groups or Family Reunions?: We have access to three condos in the same complex. Ours is two bedrooms, my brothers is two doors down with three bedrooms, and our friends also have a two bedroom. If you rented all three you could sleep 22 on beds.

Other Activities: kayaking, river rafting, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, ice climbing

We had such a great time here! We will be back. Loved the Sow's Ear, Ouray, and the train ride to Silverton! Also, don't miss the coffe shop/resturant here at Cascade Village! It's GREAT!
We kinda like the "Weaver's Request" pizza.......:)

I took grandskids for some skiing and they loved being so close to the ski slope. But I think they enjoyed the swimming pool just as much. The condo is very nice and decorated with a western theme.The view from the back window is great and is picture perfect.The staff at Casscade Village are friendly and very helpful. Becky, the owner is very helpful and gives you all info you need to make your stay enjoyable.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Ideal location, lovely condo very nicely decorated with spectacular views. Durango has great outdoor activities, restaurants and friendly people. We really enjoyed our week long stay. Dececember 2008.

We had a very nice stay at your lovely condo. What views! We took a short walk in the morning on the trail next to the
condo by the meadow. Incredible colors. We also went to Mesa Verde, which
was spectacular. And we went to the pools at Trimble Spa, which was so
fun for our children. The condo was clean and well supplied.
