Great location, clean, almost like home

We were very pleased with this condo in Pigeon Forge. It was very clean, the decor was very nice, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room, and it was close to everything. It had cable TV, a nice fireplace, a nice view of the golf course from the rear balconies and a view of the smokies from the front. We used the pool and that was great, lots of fun. It also had a washer and dryer, which could be very handy, and a built-in hair dryer. The master bath shower was wonderful, nicer than mine at home! And the kitchen, dining room, living room layout was nice. There was a game table too. There were TVs in every room as well and a DVD player in the living room. The owner provided good customer service and was very prompt in email responses.
It was great to have the kitchen to prepare breakfast and dinner in. We even packed picnic lunches for every day in the Smoky Mountains Park. If you plan to use the kitchen for full meals, be sure to bring all of the items you might need, including mixing bowls, seasonings including S&P, coffee filters, large frying pan, extra dishwasher soap, and so on. It saved tons of money to be able to cook there and not eat out at every meal, which was one of the reasons we selected the condo. But the kitchen had only the basics, such as a spaghetti pot and colander, two smaller frying pans, 2 saucepans, a lid for one of the saucepans, some cookie sheets and a lasagna pan. All of the cooking utensils were there, as well as silverware and fairly decent knives. That may sound like a lot, but for someone who likes to cook, you might get frustrated.
Area attractions that we enjoyed were the Tuckaleechee Caverns in Townsend, Cades Cove, Laurel Falls hike, Aquarium of the Smokies, and other Smoky Mountain adventures. We both got sick after eating at Tony Roma's, which is unusual as they typically have good food. We also enjoyed Fannie Farkle's in Gatlinburg.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this condo again. But we would bring all of the kitchen things we need! :-)
