House - 6 Bedrooms + Loft - 3 Baths - (Sleeps 15)

Modern European design with homelike rustic touches brings comfort and space. Second floor living room offers truly sky high ceiling with two skylights and gas fireplace will compliment family evenings perfectly. Master bathroom offers a skylight where guests may enjoy a private romantic evening in a jetted tub with candlelight.

Windows in the back of the house overlook two outdoor pools, for adults and children, as well as the clubhouse, which includes a coffee shop. In addition to, clubhouse area offers tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts and playground for the kids. All of it is right in the backyard, which literally takes a couple of minutes to walk to.

First floor living room is a family and friends game room, includes a pool table, table tennis table, variety of board games, twister games, book library, TV with cable, stereo system and more.

In regards to the recent complaints:

Boiler is working as it should; There IS enough hot water; recently accommodated a party of 22 for several days without problems.

We update our furniture as needed and take all suggestions into account.

Main living room couches have been replaced.

We do not provide orthopedic mattresses or bedding; our beds supplied with standard mattresses and pillows.

Our vacation rental is located in a beautiful quiet community at the highest point in Pocono area resulting in pleasant warm, non humid, summer and of course best ski slopes nearby. Gouldsboro State Park is only 5 minute drive away for those who enjoy nature, hiking, hunting, fishing, biking, wild berry and mushroom picking. Big Bass Lake community offers three lakes available for swimming, fishing, boating, and kayaking. The Big Bass Lake has a white sand beach with picnic tables and marina nearby. Larsen lake offers boat and kayak rentals for $7 an hour and $3 for each additional hour afterwards.

During winter season Big Bass Lake community offer ski slopes for skiing, sledding, and snow tubing located on Route 507. Tannersville is 20 minutes away which offers Camelback Mountain Ski Resort which has great ski/snowboard slopes for levels and ages.

Mountain Airy Casino Resort is a few miles away which offers golf and full gambling casino, open 24 hours, for those seeking an exciting night out with friends and family. Hey, you never know!

Our property is nested in a perfect location to relax with friends and family, but surrounding Pocono area offers some of the most exciting activities and entertainment for all type of minds and adventure seekers.

Our personal favorite is Blue Mountain Ski Resort, the diversity of slopes and snow quality will pay off for the longer drive.

Best fishing area, in our opinion, is east side of the Larsen Lake by the railroad bridge. It could be accessed from a Gouldsboro's historic train station by the post office. 10 minute walk from the station heading North.

Dutchman Tavern is the closest bar, we found it to truly portray local spirit. Also, since fairly recently new terrace have been built, so now you may enjoy the surrounding nature views and sounds with some great beer and wings.

Perfect for large family with children

Stayed 4 mites & 5 days with 7 other guys on our annual late summer golf outing. It was nice with almost everyone having their own room to sleep in (7 bedrooms). The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. There were enough kitchen utilities such as dishes & glasses but wish it had one more large pot. On the negative or
positive side, being close to the pool & the clubhouse does generate lot of noise and screaming especially by the kids having a great time. It was just that we are old guys in their mid sixties who go to sleep early due to early tee times scheduled in the mornings. Highly recommend the house for large family with kids. Previous reports of not having enough hot water was unfounded. Had no problem with the owners prior to checking in, during our stay, etc. Very professionally done. Thank you.

No hot water!!!

The property is very nice. We stayed there for 2 days. But there is no hot water and the owner didn't response properly. To be said, we actually suffered a lot without hot water. For taking bath, we heated water in the stove for 15 persons. Its so horrible experience. Otherwise the property is nice and we enjoyed staying there.
Owner's Response: We are sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience in our vacation property. To clarify, we did respond to your inquiries regarding the hot water issue. As in every other house in the mountains because each property has its own boiler and water supply, the hot water supply is limited and therefore one must wait until the boiler is full again. We apologize it has affected your stay and would like to offer 10% discount on your next stay with us. Thank you for choosing us, as well as informing us of the issue. Nice property

This is a comfortable home. We found it to be clean and at a good location. Nearby hiking trails and boating are a plus. Although we did not use the clubhouse, it is an active place and is just behind this property - you could hear swimming pool noises at night, but not disturbing. For access to this property do not rely on GPS, ask the owner as one must go through the main gate. Overall a good experience, and would recommend it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Relaxing Family Weekend

This house was exactly what we needed. A little family and friends getaway without the worry about what to do. House was very close to the pool and the big bass lake beach. House was comfortable we all had our own rooms, bathrooms were enough for all. House was exactly as described, community amenities very clean. I would recommend this house and we hope to stay there again.
