Anderson Valley is a 45 minute drive to the north, or head west to the Village of Mendocino. Also within an hour drive are Bodega Bay on the Sonoma Coast, the town of Calistoga in Napa County, and the lakes of Mendocino County. Just a 10-15 minute drive is the Lake Sonoma Resort area which offers fishing, boating, jet-skiing, hiking, camping, and swimming. I have just returned home from a vacation with 9 friends to Wine Country for a wedding and we almost forgot why we went there in the first place. This house was so amazing!! We had all the comforts of home and much more! Bocce ball, a hot tub, a swimming pool, pool table and enough space to not get on each others nerves. We were centrally located and had no troubles getting around. Thank you again for opening up your home to us and highly recommend this property to any group of friends or family looking to get away.

Restful relaxing

Pictures do not do it justice. We came with a group, two couples. single lady and the bride. We came to attend a wedding and this home made our trip more than wonderful. We did not want to leave though we had sightseeing plans.. The hot tub and the pool were excellent. It was so quiet and peaceful. Sitting at night in the hot tub and looking at the night sky or on the porch was so relaxing. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect especially the mater bedroom....unbeleivable. The perfect place for the bride to get ready for her big day. We loved cooking in the kitchen and no one got in the way of another. We did not even think about going somewhere else to eat. We would recommend it to anyone and everyone. You can all be together or you can find an place to be alone. The laundry area was so handy. The exercise room so private and inviting. One of our most memorable vacation places. All praises...no complaints!

Better than expected

What a wonderful vacation home the 8 of us rented. It was beyond our expectations. The home was beautiful and the landlord very accommodating to us. We are taking of an reunion already. There was plenty of space for us, it was convenient to all of our plans and most of all it was so comfortable. The amenities were great too. I would recommend this house to anyone who loves to cook and be with friends.

Perfect Vacation Home - Pics don't do it Justice

We rented this house to celebrate my father's 60th birthday. We rent vacation houses regularly and this one is at the top of the list. The pics of this house just don't do it justice. The kitchen is HUGE and spectacular for those who love to cook. The 12 foot ceiling make it seem even bigger and more grand. The house has a very cozy feel and I haven't even started on the backyard....

We had intended to spend our week in the Wine Country checking out all the sights but it was very hard to leave the house and the relaxing backyard with a resort like feel. The salt water pool was fantastic, perfect temp and weather! Bocce is a fun family event.

If you are bringing a group of people this is a perfect place to stay. There are 4 different places in the house to have a sit down dinner (inside and out). The living room is a great place to play games or watch movies. The billiards room adds another activity. In addition, the back of the garage has workout equippment, weights, treadmills, etc. You really never need to leave.

Cloverdale is a very cute town. Only 15 minutes from Healdsburg, you are right in the middle of a ton of wineries. We even took a drive out to lake Sonoma (15 minutes) and rented a speedboat to change it up and spend a day on the water.

We have to thank Jan for letting us stay in her beautiful home. It was a pleasure and we plan to do it again next year!
