Local Attractions:
If you are in the mood for something more metropolitan travel to Newport to visit the Mansions of Bellevue Avenue or shop at the local boutiques. Newport has boat tours, museums, fine dining and entertainment. There are several vineyards and breweries located in Rhode Island and nearby Westport MA. It is always a lovely time take a day and enjoy the new flavors of the season. Providence is also a short drive away and provides a unique Italian pizazz that can only be found on Federal Hill. Providence has upscale shopping, dining and entertainment.

The Art Cafe! For all of you who must have a cup of Java in the morning then you must visit the little coffee shop located in the center of town. Judy brews the best coffee and she always has fresh muffins, quiche's, bagels and she also makes espresso and cappuccinos, mmmmm....
A walk with nature - Little Compton and the surrounding area has several nature conservancy walking and biking trails. The trails are clearly marked and are a lot of fun with children. There is freshwater fishing in the ponds and streams (Wilbur's Woods is great for trout) or you can try your luck with the Striper! The stripers run in the spring and the fall right in front of our house. People travel great lengths to catch the Striper as they make the biannual run North towards Cape Cod and then back again!

Surfing and Kite Boarding- people come from all over New England to Surf our Coast. We please ask if you surf to respect the private property of our neighbors and use the private lane ways, beaches or town landing areas.
Ice Cream, Ice Cream - Everyone must stop at Gray's Ice Cream for a treat. Whether you fancy a banana split or a sorbet they have the perfect flavor for you. Gray's has won best ice cream in RI for the last several years! And don't forget to say hi to the cows!
If you fancy to venture out even farther the house is only 1 hour and 15 minutes from Cape Cod.
