Private pool and hot tub to relax while sitting in the middle of the tropical rain forest watching monkeys and sloths in the trees. Birds and butterflies abound all while listening to the soothing sounds of a natural stream bordering the property. Tastefully decorated with native hardwoods and local artisan furniture and all new stainless GE appliances. Professionally managed with maid service. Transportation can be arranged from SJ airport or Quepos airport. Manuel Antonio National Park, the gem of the national park system, is minutes away with more amazing beaches and hiking trails. Manuel Antonio can be reached by a 20 minute flight from San Jose Airport (Juan Santamaria), or a beautiful 2-1/2 hour drive over mountains, through coffee plantations, down the coast through palm fields. The many small towns along the way gives one a great feel for the rural countryside, which is the true Costa Rica. Manuel Antonio is a bohemian mixture of people and places. Restaurants range from simple to five star quality. Great shopping for local crafts and art. This is not a 'surf' town like Tamarindo to the north. Lots of incredible live music. The beaches of Manuel Antonio are world class and the area is truly a tropical paradise.

Brand New Bali House: Awake in the morning to the sound of the howler monkeys in the tropical rain forest canopy at eye level. Sip your morning coffee on the veranda with the white face and mono titi monkeys on their daily migration through the jungle or perhaps one of the resident sloths will make an appearance. This jungle hide away is one of the very few private houses within walking distance to world famous Manuel Antonio Beach and also within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Tastefully decorated with native hardwoods and local artisan furniture. Three bedrooms all with 4 post queen beds and air conditioning. Wrap around deck puts you right in the forest canopy.

LUXURY ... Monkey Haven

We have just come back from 9 nights / 10 days in Manuel Antonio, staying at this fabulous property. There were 2 couples and there was pleanty of room for us all to spread out and not get under each other. The house was even better than the photos and the staff [Evallia / Thomas / Dennis] are all charming and made our stay memorable. We saw more monkeys [capuchin & howlers] at the house than in the national park. We got to enjoy watching them as we sipped coffee on the deck in the morning, and drinking cocktails in the evening. Thomas helped us organize a chef to come cook us a meal the night we arrived that was a feast fit for a king and started the vacation off on the right foot. Any tours or planning or assistance we needed Thomas was right there. Dealing with Mike for the rental agreements / payment etc. was a breeze and it was a pleasure dealing with him. The photos really do not do this place justice and we highly recommend this property.
