Terry Peak ski area condo overlooks the slopes within walking distance to the ski lodge. Set at an elevation of 6500 feet just a mile west of Lead, and 3 miles west of Deadwood gambling, the area offers tons of year round activities. Skiing and winter snowmobiling, summer fishing, bike trails, hiking or Sturgis bike rally, fall hunting and buffalo roundup, Just a short drive to Mount Rushmore, numerous area golf courses, Custer State Park all set against a spectacular Black Hills backdrop. This fully furnished condo allows you to just bring your bags, relax, and enjoy a fun filled stay.

Area Amenities: Lead, SD was home to Homestake Gold Mine. One of the most productive gold mines in the United States. Today that mine has been closed and is in the process of being transformed into a large underground particle reactor. The condo is within less than a mile of the Mickelson Trail, a hiking or biking trail that stretches for a 100 miles from Deadwood south to Edgemont, SD. There are B & B's along the way and scenery galore. This is a great spot to relax in the HIlls for a week.

We enjoyed our ski trip in March 2013 in this spacious 2 bedroom Unit!
Clean, and nice! Perfect fit for us!.

It does accomodate up to 8 people in beds. (2 beds in one bedroom and 1 king in the master bedroom, also has one hide-a-bed in the living room! and plenty of floor space for more if ya like! 2 bathrooms too.

Morning cup of coffee and watch the sunrise while sitting on the deck! What beautiful views!.

Cooked breakfast every morning in the fully stocked kitchen before we went skiing....most everything utensil or pan you need! Quite handy!! and the dishwasher does the dishes.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hot Tub after skiing!
We would highly recommend this unit!

We would recommend this property to anyone who's just there to relax, sight see or gamble. We traveled everyday to visit the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, the Bad Lands, Wall Drug, the mines, and Deadwood (we loved). Left some money there, but it was fun. The scenery was beautiful. The condo was perfect. Very clean, beds were comfortable, everything we needed was there. Ate breakfast in everyday. Thanks again Mark for sharing your condo with us.

A very clean condo and an enjoyable experience

We were delighted with the cleanliness of the condo, the comfort, and the view from the deck. The beds were very comfortable.

Even though it was an hour from the Black Hills, we were happy to leave the crowds and return to the quietness of the mountain here

We would highly recommend this property.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

This condo was great! It was very spacious and kid - friendly. We had 7 people staying in the condo and had plenty of room. The view was wonderful. We were about 1 hour from Mt. Rushmore so it was easy to do day trips to the Custer area.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great place, great price

More than enough room for the 2 of us. The renter was very accomodating, as we did not arrive until late at night. We were just up the hill from the ski lodge, very convenient. Would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks for letting us stay!
