Best. House. Ever.

It has been 7 months since our stay in this amazing home and my husband and I still think of and speak of the house and its owners, Nancy and Carlos.
I cannot even articulate what I feel in my heart for this special place and more importantly, my gratitude to Nancy. I was married on June 14, 2008 and less than one week before my wedding weekend, the owner of the first home I had reserved, conveniently decided to rent her "Luxurious Tuscan Villa" to another group for more money (even though I had paid a deposit and was expecting her to charge the balance to my credit card).
I was left high and dry with only 5 days to find a new house to accommodate my large wedding party and to be the venue for our rehearsal dinner. I had exhausted all of my options and took a shot in the dark when I found this property. Nancy barely had availability but she came through huge for us and made it work. Her home proved to be the place where we were supposed to end up and we have very fond memories of our time there. We hope to return someday with all of our friends (who also loved the house).
The house is beautiful and the space is immaculate. It was very comfortable and we had everything we could have needed. Nancy and Carlos dropped their dog Louis off with us for a few hours and he was well behaved and loved by all.
It's located in a safe neighborhood, close to local amenities as well as the freeway but when you're there, it feels like you're a world away and in total seclusion.
My husband and I joke that if we were to win the lottery, we'd offer Nancy double the value of the property so we could own it; assuming she'd be crazy enough to sell it.
