A luxurious 2200 sq. ft. year-round home with access to Back Lake. Private canoe, kayak or small fishing boat launch area 1/8 of a mile from the home. Snowmobile access through this same launch from the house, no trailering. Large fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, 6 burner double-oven gas range with griddle, microwave, dining room seats 12, wood-burning, fieldstone fireplace, large 3 season room with wood-burning stove, satellite TV, CD/DVD Player, full-size washer & dryer, radiant heat. One king size bedroom with private bath, 2 queen size bedrooms with 2 twins in each, both with private baths, 1 twin bedroom with 2 twin beds & it's own private bath. Half bath off the great room. Quiet, in the woods feel, but close to town & all ATV, snowmobile trails & other recreational activities.

We rented for New years 2009. This is absolutely beautiful! The owners thought of EVERYTHING! From the soft sheets/blankets to the coffee center and everything in between....would highly recommend this especially for groups...you can converge yet have the privacy of your own bathroom no matter what room you choose. The kitchen is to die for and the only negative I would say for those wanting to watch a movie is the very very very small screen. Preferring to read, this did not bother me...but others in the group would have liked a screen bigger than the 20" flat screen (guessing) they had.
The trail to back lake...is indeed right there. If you snowmobile...you'll love it!

This place is outstanding! The house is beautiful, immaculate and unbelievably comfortable. The kitchen alone is worth coming for. It is so well stocked and really fun to cook in. We came for a weekend of hiking and kayaking but were actually happy that it turned into a rainy weekend -- it meant we got to spend more time relaxing by the fire. There is so much attention to detail in this house and it is beautifully appointed. Much of the furniture is clearly made by hand and beautifully crafted. The owners are gracious and accommodating -- truly a pleasure to deal with. We could not have asked for more. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful Rental

This tucked-away rental was everything described and more--it was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was an unexpected joy in the middle of the woods. The leather chairs around the fireplace are as comfortable as the look in the pictures. Unless you need to be on the lake (as opposed to having access on the lake, which this property provides), you could not find a better rental. We fished all day, and found it was like coming home.

Close to Heaven

Eight Bostonians wanted to get away for a weekend of rural bliss and we found it in Pittsburg, New Hampshire! The house was beyond beautiful. The large kitchen was so clean and well maintained, and the living areas (3 season porch, living room) were perfect for bringing everyone together. The best part of the trip? The owners. They were so accomadating, and being that this was our first time renting a home, they answered all of our questions. We are planning this trip yearly, and we will only visit this home in Pittsburg! When you come, you won't want to leave. Believe me!
