Our new home is rare for the Massanutten Resort. Not only do we have a flat entrance with few stairs and tons of parking, we also have a large flat backyard, complete with a mountain stream. The St Nick is located in the kettle, near the top, right around the corner from tubing and the slopes. When we are not using our home for our own family gatherings, we cater to families (preferred) and adult-led groups who will respect our home, the privacy of our neighbors, our house rules and the rules of the Massanutten Property Owners Association. With 2 great rooms, 2 massive decks, 7 bedrooms, HIGH SPEED wireless Internet access, a game room, a large easily accessible garage, your entire family will have all the space they need to stretch out and relax. There are two master suites, one on each floor, and 5 bedrooms with either custom made-extra wide twin over twin bunks or twin over full bunks. In the game room you will find an air hockey table, games, puzzles, and comfy couches.

The East coast's largest YEAR round water park is now open and only minutes away. Plan your family vacation now! There is no place on the East coast that offers as many activities and comfortable accommodations for so many people - at such low rates. During the summer months you also have access to the Property Owner's Pool at the top of the mountain. Rates at the Property Owner's pool are $5/person/day, 5 and under free.

I can't begin to tell you about the many attractio: I can't begin to tell you about the many attractions in the Shenandoah Valley region. There are at least 6 different cave locations, Luray the most famous. SkyLine Drive is about 20 minutes away by car. Live Shakespeare Theater is available in Staunton. Colleges galore for you to investigate for the future college students. When we converse, ask about other amenities.

Our home is within the gated Massanutten Resort complex but, as a private residence, we are not affiliated with the Resort in any way. We get no perks or special benefits of the Resort. However, everything on and around the mountain that is available to the public is available to you including the mini-golf course, the GoKart track, either of the two 18-hole championship golf courses, hoseback riding, tubing/skiing on the slopes, etc.

Other Activities: shopping, rock climbing, horseshoes, miniature golf, full-season water park, go-kart course, Full line of brochures stocked in our home for activities

JMU Graduation Celebration 2009

What a great house! It was the perfect place for a large family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from JMU! Lots of bedrooms, the kitchen was large and nicely equiped - and the outdoor decks were great! We had everthing we needed and plenty of space (our only complaint was the absence of a full-length mirror). The area is beautiful, the golf was great, and we really didn't mind the 20 minute ride into Harrisonburg. It would be a great vacation spot for a large group, and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. THANK YOU!!!

A Wonderful Getaway

My freinds and I really enjoyed our weekend at Massanutten Ski Resort. The home was very clean and lovely. It was everything the ad had decribed and much, much more. We will return to this location in the future for fun and relaxtion.

Loved the ST. NICK!!!

The owner was very easy to deal with and very accomodating. Payment was easy and the security deposit was returned promptly. Communication was excellent.

The house was very clean and just as described in the ad.
The house was still decorated for Christmas which was an example of the family atmosphere the owners were trying to convey. We are planning on staying there next year.

Thank you for such a nice beginning of the new year!!!
