Fellowship in well-furnished and well-priced accommodations, in the warmth of its sauna or sit-down dining room/kitchen. Sleep peacefully in the spacious 6 bedrooms, each enjoying its own private bath. Play parlor games inside, yard games outside, or just enjoy the magnificent mountain/river-valley views from the backyard or front porch.

Recreation possibilities abound. In winter or summer, drive 5 minutes to ski (Nordic & downhill) or snow-board at Jay Peak's 4-season Resort whose lifts and glades enable nonstop activity, thanks to the absence of lift lines and crowded slopes. Discounted lift tickets should be figured into your savings. Golf the magnificent championship 18-hole golf course in summer. Enjoy!!!

Year-Round Recreation: Record-breaking annual snowfall (exceeding Stowe by an average of 100 inches annually) and the East’s only aerial tramway are unparalleled by any nearby area. Ride snowmobiles to your heart’s content on adjacent VAST trails. A drive of 20-30 minutes to the east leads to Newport and Lake Memphremagog for ice skating and ice fishing;or, in summer, boating, water skiing, fishing and swimming. Right across the Canadian border (3 miles away) one finds similar activities at Owl’s Head, as well.

Beauty And Enjoyment All Around!: Streams and rivers lace the surrounding countryside for fishing, boating and swimming. Scenic roadways offer bike and motorcycle jaunts. Some half-dozen golf courses, within a 6 to 30-minute drive serve varying abilities, not the least of which is the recently developed championship course at Jay Peak designed by Canadian Graham Cooke, enjoyable according to varying levels of skill.

Golf: Enjoyable And Challenging courses nearby are: Jay Peak Ski/Summer Resort, Newport, Orleans, Richford, Enosburg Falls, Owls Head, and others.

Ski: Jay Peak offers the only aerial tramway in the East, record annual snowfalls, outstanding glades, rarely ever any lift lines (even with a full parking lot!), an outstanding ski school (adults and children), a separate area for snowboarding -- all this and Nordic ski trails as well! Annual snowfall often exceeds all other areas in the U. S., and sometimes even Canada!

Columbus Weekend

John and I wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Vermont home. We really enjoyed our fall weekend. We took full advantage of many of your suggestions. We visited Couture's farm, took the tram to the top of Jay Peak, went ice skating, ate a nice family dinner, picked apples, carved pumpkins, visited Shelburne and relaxed.
Your home was so comfortable and perfect for us and our guests. Wow, the long drive (with kids) was really worth it for the fun weekend that we had. Thank you so much for all your hospitality. We made sure that everything was in order when we left. Please let us know if you have any problems.
