Our 50' of private lake front property is shaded by large oak and maple trees overlooking the largest inland lake in New York State. Located down a dead end road, it offers adequate parking and moderate privacy. A mild breeze off the water makes air-conditioning unnecessary. In June of 2007, the bathroom was renovated to include a new sink, shower tub and water softener / rust remover system. In addition, the wood floors were refinished to brighten up the interior. Fishing off our 70 foot dock early morning or evening may catch you a pailful of walleye, pike, bass, perch or carp. Plenty of space available to park your boat with marinas and public boat launches within four miles of the cottage. The sleeping arrangements are unique. The second floor is one large dormitory style room with three double beds. Portable dividers offer privacy when needed. Ideal set up for parents with children.

Venturing away from the cottage can be exciting as well. The shoreline town park, less than a quarter mile away, offers a sandy beach, an open pavilion, basketball court, baseball fields and tennis courts. The Sylvan Beach Amusement Park, just 20 minutes away and the Verona State Park, just 25 minutes away offer additional sandy beaches. TURNING STONE CASINO is 40 minutes away and offers world class gaming, showroom, restaurants, and three of the finest golf courses in the Northeast. In addition, the Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota is just 35 minutes away and the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown is under 2 hours away.

This cottage was so quaint and clean. It was close to many conveniences yet removed enough to enjoy the quiet of nature. I absolutely loved it and plan on going again. The owners are kind and accomodating and provided me with information that helped me find restaurants, laundromats and grocery stores. The neighbors were also very kind and helpful. I almost don't want to let out the secret of this place so that it will become too popular for me to get a week for myself. Wonderful location!!!!! I Highly recommend it!!
