It was completely restored by a local artist/owner and converted into two spacious single family condos. It is located just steps away from Forsyth park where you can pick up one of the guided trolley tours.
It is convenient to sightseeing such as the Mercer-Williams house (Midnight in the Garden), the four star Mansion hotel/restaurant, fine art galleries, museums, boutiques, restaurants, the civic center, city market and SCAD buildings. River street is a short walk or you can ride one of the bikes, take a pedicab(bicycle cab) or grab a free CAT bus(2 blocks away).
The house is also convenient for local events such as the Jazz/Blues Festival (Forsyth park), Folk Music Festival(round-house railroad), Savannah Music festival, and Film Festival are nearby. This condo is the perfect location for your Savannah excursions whether it is business or pleasure.
The home features soaring ceilings, heart pine flooring, marble firelplaces, and oriental rugs. Each room is beautifully decorated with antiques and artwork by local artists and the owner.
The living room contains a comfortable oversized sofa,chairs, marble fireplace, ceiling fan. The windows allow the sun to streams through, bringing it a warm atmosphere. We provide 32'' plasma TV, DVD player, games and assorted Savannah related books,music and movies. Wireless internet is avialble throughout the home.
Master Bedroom has a beautiful queen size brass bed with fine linens. Sufficient storage, antique dresser, desk, small TV, alarm clock and a ceiling fan.
Spare Bedroom features a full-sized walnut bed, an armoire, alarm clock and fan.
The modern kitchen is cheerfully decorated with a window overlooking the courtyard. It is fully furnished with refrigerator, stailess steel dishwasher, oven stove,microwave, toaster oven, range, utensils, cookware. It is stocked with bar essentials, coffeemaker, gourmet coffee as well as spices-everything you require for culinary needs.
There is a small dining table for you to enjoy your meals at home.
The full sized bath is large and warm with a tiled floor, shower and tub. It includes luxurious bath/hand towels, hairblower as well as soap.
You can enjoy a well-landscaped, double courtyard for morning coffee, cocktails or to grill your evening meal!
