ADORABLE ,FULLY REMODELED, HISTORIC 1928 beach/urban North Beach Artist's Upstairs Loft shows pride of ownership and is very clean and well maintained. It is one of the very first buildings built in San Clemente!!!! We have lovingly restored her and she is a gem!
We offer a charming one-bdrm. w/1 really comfy back deck off kitchen that is my favorite spot in the morning with my latte and book. We have cocktails there in the evenings when we are lucky enough to visit our little piece of paradise! Our outdoor living area off the living room is a great place to dine or hang out in the outdoor lounge area with a glass of wine. It has a private entry, a full Spanish tiled kitchen, and one full bath w/tub-shower combo.It has a 'Jacuzzi' jetted tub, Spanish tile, and a hand painted sink. We also have a shared GARAGE with downstairs apt. (for mid size or smaller cars. It is VERY subjective as we have had a van and a BMW in the garage at the same time. Vehicles can be staggered quite nicely.

It is our downstairs garden unit..it is smaller, less money, but it doesn't skimp on style or comfort! ....Both have privacy, own entrances, indoor laundry facilities, patios..... Only thing shared is the garage!
_We purchased our building in 2006 and she was in sad disrepair We recognized her potential to bring her back to her Spanish 1920's Ole Hanson style and charm.... We took it a step further and updated her with modern amenities, new windows, heating, air units, plumbing, wiring, appliances, refinished original hardwood floors, new bath, new decks, kitchen...... On and on. She still retains her uniqueness! Old doorknobs, 'moon' ceiling in living room, funny out - of- commission outlets that our plumbers scratch their heads..... She was one of the very first homes in North Beach and had a full open ocean view at the time. She was the only home on El Camino Real at the time.As time went on she lost her view as development grew, the alley was put in which extends the length of the beachside of San Clemente. It is now interspersed with commercial, retail, eateries, homes, high end condos, little apartments, coffee cafe, flower shop, vet, tire store, car wash, Ichibieri's sushi, Rider's Club amazing burgers, beach trail, taco restaurant , bike rentals, surfboard shops we love It is quirky, fun, and your typical old style beach location !!! Not slick and snooty, no pretenses here.... The common ground of it's residents is our love of the laid back lifestyle , our love of the ocean, and the outdoor lifestyle year round!!!! Everyone

My name is jeff M lewis and I am a professional photographer and artist. I have studios in three different states and vacation rentals at those locations. In San Clemente, CA my studio is in the same 1929 building our Vacation Rental. My works are displayed and sold at several Galleries in California, Idaho and Colorado. Disney Resorts commissioned me to produce several large works for their Paradise Pier Resort next to the original Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA. The new Sheraton Resort in Carlsbad, CA commissioned a work for their beautiful new ocean view lobby next door to LegoLand USA.
San Clemente is an artist's dream. It is a great little beach town!!
My wife, Debbie, is an interior designer and owns her business, Off the Beaten Path Interior Design. She specailizes in high end interior looks $$$$$$$ for any size budget. She has created her business on the premise of creating high end designs using expensive pieces purchased very inexpensively. She has built a reputation for saving her client's $$$$$ while giving them the quality and look they wanted.
We are inspired by the beach and the life style of San Clemente. It is unique and special.............. There is no other Southern Ca. beach town like it.... friendly, laid back, and full of charm of the 1920's Spanish Revival Style!!!

Just a fabulous little hamlet by the ocean. Not pretentious and very laid back. This is not your typical 'OC'. A short stroll to the famous Ole Hansen pool/community center. Another longer stroll from North beach around the corner on the new Beach Walk Trail to the Pier and then up Del Mar to downtown. Many new wonderful restaurants and shops. Equal distance to downtown LA and downtown San Diego. Just does not get any better if you want to chill at the beach.
Sun, surf, sunsets, fine dining, a zillion places to go and things to see from LA to San Diego. It will take many, many vacations here to experience just a fraction of what is available along the different Pacific Ocean and slightly inland communities of Southern California. San Clemente is right in the middle of it all without all the fanfare of Newport Beach, Marina Del Ray or Malibu.
I stayed here for 5 weeks and the Lewis's went out of their way to accomodate my very last minute stay. They had flowers and wine for me. They were really nice and helpful.
The loft was so close to the beach and my workplace. It was really decorated in a beach/ colorful/ and tasteful way. They had great bedding and I used the decks the entire stay! I had my bike, went on runs on the trail, brought my surfboards.
