This newly constructed (6/07) two story luxury cabin has the Frazier River 15 feet from your back door. Five miles to Sol Vista ski resort, twenty miles to Winter Park. Located in Granby, CO., it is a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, and to world famous hot springs. Beautiful mountain views and conveniently located very near to this tourist town.

Trout Paradise!

The place was immaculate and the kitchen was equiped with every appliance you might wish for. A large flat screen TV was over the gas fireplace in the livingroom. Each of the three bedrooms had a private bathroom with a shower.
The Fraser River flowed past the back deck about 40 feet away. On arriving, I set up my flyrod and on my second cast I hooked a 17 inch brown trout right in back of the place. I fished the stream everyday for about 6 hours and never ran into anyone else. The stream is about 1/2 mile long thru the property. I caught lots of trout on dry flies every day. My wife enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub. I highly recommend this rental.

Cabin in Granby Colorado

We stayed the last week of July. I had three of my kids, 10, 8 and 5 with me. The place was very well done. The location was great for our hiking day trips and touring RMNP. The cabin was clean and well decorated. The river in back was beautiful and sang us to sleep each night. We would definately stay here again. There is a City Market close by for all last minute needs.

There is fishing on site for a fee. We chose to use the free ponds stocked by the Lions Club in Fraser which is just down the road. Kids under 12 can fish for free and the local fly shop across the road topped of our gear cheaply and offered great tips.

Wildlife viewing was the best I have seen in the 12 plus trips to the area. My kids really enjoyed their day in the outdoor adventure area of the Winter Park Villages. It was pricey at $50/ person a day for full passes but a top favorite when my kids talk about our trip. The alpine slide is the longest in Colorado and the staff on all the activities offered outstanding service and people skills with my kids.

There is a nice pool and hot tub at the clubhouse which we used twice. The clubhouse is reserved for owners only.
