The Destin West Bayside Sandpiper building overlooks the bay and the lush tropical landscaped group of heated pools and spas and a fabulous 700' lazy river. Vacationers to this condo also have use of the Destin West Gulfside offering additional pools, a kiddie water garden park, and access to 4 secluded miles of sugar white sandy beaches overlooking the emerald green Gulf of Mexico. An elevated walkway has been installed to provide easy cross-over between the bay and beach.

  • A minimum of 3 nights is required. Weekly stays may be required during peak season and holidays.

    A deposit of $350 is required to confirm reservation.

    Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay or a new arrival date received more than 30 days prior to your arrival date will result in a minimum reservation charge of $100.00 plus tax.

    Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay or new arrival date received within 30 days of your arrival date will forfeit the full advance payment or deposit. Cancellations for arrival dates between May 1 and September 1 will be charged an additional 35% of the rental rate based on the rental rate plus tax in addition to the advance payment or deposit.
  • A refundable damage deposit is required at check-in.

    Visa and MasterCard credit cards only. Checks, money orders, cashiers checks must be received 14 days prior to check-in

    Age requirements: no rentals will be made to vacationing students or singles under the age of twenty five unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    Processing fee/cleaning fee and 11% sales tax are not included in the rental rates.

Sandpiper unit 302 has a 'superior' rating from the on-site management group, so our guests can expect tastefully decorated furnishings, very comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The master bedroom has a king size bed, an adjoining large bath with a Jacuzzi tub, a step-in shower, as well as a large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed and an adjacent large bath. Bedroom #3 is a bunk room and has a full size bed with a twin bed overhead. The king and queen bedrooms each have a 20' color cable TV with DVD players, phones and alarm clocks. The bunk room has a 13' color cable TV. The living room has a 32' color cable TV, DVD & VCR player, stereo with CD/Cassette player, and a queen sleeper sofa. The furnishings and decor have a tropical theme and are color coordinated throughout.

The private patio overlooks the bay, pools, and the lazy river, which is fiber-optic lighted at night to provide a beautiful night-time atmosphere. Sandpiper 302 is a hearing impaired unit and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 to 9 guests.

Destin West Beach & Bay Resort is located away from the busy areas of Destin, yet is highly accessible to upscale factory shops, Destin Commons Mall, and Santa Rosa Mall, world class deep sea fishing, charter boats, many exclusive golf courses, and excellent restaurants. A fishing pier, located on the Gulf, is within walking distance. The new Okaloosa County Conference Center is 1/4 mile from the resort. Okaloosa County Regional Airport 10 miles.

We were very impressed with the Sandpiper. We were there 6 days. I thought the condo looked better than the pictures on the web. Make sure you walk around and see everything whether you are interested. Found out after we left we missed the bar under the waterfall and the boogie board trench. Great view off the balcony. The owners were very nice and helpful.
