Very spacious 1 Bedrm cottage with king bed, 1 Full Bath, Liv Rm. & kitchen - close to the beach so no feeding the parking meters! Hey! You can actually watch ships coming & going from the front porch. The living room has a new queen sofa bed, 52' cable TV, DVD, stero, WIFI & recliner. The bedrm has a new king bed, another cable TV, & walk-in closet. The kitchen is fully furnished & has microwave, refer/ice maker, stove, Dishwasher, utensils, cookware, & dishes. You have two off street parking spaces, and you're close to the beach, restaurants, fitness center, playground, entertainment, grocery store, ATM, and library. Enter the courtyard from your backdoor and enjoy the tranquility of island living. Everything you need for a perfect getaway ! You have reached the end of Hwy 80 East and have arrived at Tybee Island. Go past the second red light, go around the sharp bend on Butler Avenue, (you will see the ocean from this road as it is the closest parallel road to the beach.) Continue on Butler & take a right on 3rd street, enter into the second driveway on your left and you have arrived at the Fiddler- 301A 3rd St.. Welcome to the beach where you can dress casual, wear your flip flops, catch some sun rays, and relax of Tybee Time & sip on your favorite beverage.

Your bench mark: You will pass the Tybee Water Tower 1 block prior to arriving at the property.

Wonderful and Charming

We have rented many units over the years and this has to be one of the best and most charming. Very comfortable, clean and very homey feeling. Everything you need is included and the "courtyard" is wonderful for warm sunny afternoons and mild evenings. The owner is so gracious and helpful with tips on where to eat and go. The beach is right across the street with easy access. The island itself is quaint and a great place for a relaxing stay. We recommend it highly. Thanks for sharing with us.

Great Times On Tybee

Where to begin:
We have stayed at the uniquely – decorated cottage unit called “ The Fiddler” for the past three years. Our stays began with 10 days and now up to 45 days. We have discovered the wonderful Tybee Island and its people.
But foremost, our discovery has been the Southern hospitality and professionalism given to us by the family at Georgia Coastal Cottages. Their gracefully given fellowship has developed into a “ priceless “ friendship,also.
We can not wait to return this December to celebrate a warm reunion of friendship during the winter on Tybee Island, GA.

Great place to stay

Our stay at the "Fiddler" was exactly what we imagined it would be. WONDERFUL!!! After a very long drive it was nice to open the door to find such a cute and clean cottage. It was nice to have the beach so close. We love the decor and the garden. And of course the pool and hot tub!! We really didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back again.

What a great winter escape

My husband, son and I escaped the New York winter and stayed in this warm, cozy, immaculate cottage. The pool, hot tub and courtyard were our own private hideaway. We entertained my daughter and her friends from school who had a great time. Loved staying here! The owners were very kind and accommodating when we needed anything - including off hours hot tub use. Thank you. Love to come back next year. My friend and her husband and son may be visiting soon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Happy Holidays on Tybee Island

This was our second visit to " THE FIDDLER". We enjoyed all of December 2010 and Half of January 2011. The holiday atmosphere and hospitality was the tops. The cottage and the hosts were again the best we have ever experienced. We loved the day trips to Savannah for the tours and dining. The island's holiday activities ( poplar plunge, fireworks,parades,etc) made us feel like we were part of the town.
We will always cherish the memories made by the host and her friends. We are looking forward to 2011 holidays on Tybee with more each peaceful morning sunrise and beach walks.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
