Exactly What We Needed!
I surprised my wife with a trip to this property for our 5 year anniversary and we already are looking for dates to book this property again! Just as I am sure you are doing now, I clicked on one VRBO listing in the area after another trying to find the 'perfect place' to stay for our trip. From my very first email inquiring about this listing to the time we checked out, the owner has been professional and organized through the entire process. The property is exactly as described, we loved the wrap around porch and the rocking chairs to sit and relax. The unit was clean and was available immediately at check in time on the day of our arrival. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was equipped with everything we needed during our stay from wine glasses to an ice cream scoop! The location was convenient once we figured out how to navigate around the community (there are a lot of cabins and the winding roads can lead to some confusing moments). We had easy drives to everything we did (The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner show, The Comedy Barn, The Tanger Outlets, a short 20 minute drive to Gatlinburg, The Bullfish Grill, Old Mill Restaurant, etc.) but the location is remote enough to have that 'away in the mountains' feeling. My family will definitely stay here again, it made for the perfect anniversary get away and we could not be happier for the times we shared at The Hilltop Hideaway!
