Green Mountain Vacation Rental cabin

We stayed for one week and took advantage of the one night free offer. Cabin was clean and fully stocked. Key was right at the door on a lock box (How convenient). There was so much to do, only wish we could have stayed longer. We caught 3 trout right on the property, saw bear and deer. The noise from the creek puts you to sleep at night. We really enjoyed the large deck overlooking the creek. It was very private, no other homes in site! We made a bon fire on the creek in a large fire pit that is already there. The Pisqah Nat’l Forest is right in back of the cabin with thousands of acres of hiking trails. There is a trail across the street that goes for miles into the mountains following a beautiful cascading creek. Our kids loved playing in the creek and so did Sammy our dog. The creek runs almost up to the cabin. What a perfect get away it was for our family. Everything was as advertised. We did not want to go home at the end of the week. We visited Roan Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, and Mt. Mitchell State Park. We also had dinner at the Little Switzerland INN and had an incredible Filet Mignon that was huge. We could not have asked for a more perfect vacation, Thank you to the owners Bob and Susan. They even let us check out late since no one was arriving the day of our check out.
