This beautiful home is located just ten minutes away from Shawnee Ski Resort & close to many other popular recreational areas and attractions. This 3 bedroom, two-level home has so much to offer. Three Queen Size Beds to snuggle up in, beautiful modernized bathrooms including a two person jetted Jacuzzi tub, comfy living room with Cable TV and DVD Player, also Wireless Internet Access (just bring your Laptop). There is also a large Entertainment Room on the lower level with an XBOX Video Game Console, Flat Screen TV, Pool table, and Foosball.

Yes, it's cozy, but misadvertized.

The house was cozy. GPS had hard time finding it, but that made it secluded and charming. Not enough chairs to sit on for the number of people that can sleep in the house. Wi-Fi is NOT there, though advertized. The "agent" who handled the rental seemed like she was doing a favor for the real agent. No one ever at the office phone; had to call her cell phone whose voicemail was for some other business. Very unprofessional. All little things aside the time spent there was wonderful.

a really cozy house

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend in cozy bear. Nice house, nice community, nice park... and everything is perfect.

We had a BBQ on the deck. A deer was just walking down to the house. We were so relaxed and happy in cozy bear.

A very relaxing/fun time

The house is as warm and relaxing as the pictures make it out to be. The entertainment room downstairs is a lot of fun. It's too bad I didn't get a chance to use the Jacuzzi because it looked amazing. The house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Will definitely revisit this property.

We Love the Cozy Bear!!!!

After searching on countless websites I came across the Cozy Bear; it seemed too perfect on website. Being a skeptic I contacted the owners and they assured me that every thing was as described at the house. The communication between us was great and they were very nice and professional.
Upon arrival, there was a minor mix up at the gate where my name wasn’t on the list; but I called the owner and she quickly resolved the issue.
After that we pulled up to the house and it looked just like the picture. There was even a pack of dear on the lawn. Beautiful. The inside was exactly as pictured; what you see on the web is what you get. The game area, Jacuzzi, kitchen and bedrooms were perfect. All clean, neat and very well maintained.
In the location is great; there was a food store, pizza shop and cvs about 20 minutes away from the house. There were also plenty activates in the surrounding area; we went skiing and visited an animal farm. There’s also shopping and plenty of nature if you’re up to it.
What I do recomend for people visiting is to get a GPS system; It makes finding things so much easy and its very dark in the woods:)

I will definitely go back to the Cozy Bear; we had a blast!!!!

Perfect Retreat at the Cozy Bear

My friends and I were looking for a house where we could relax and have a good time for a long weekend. We were lucky enough to find this great house.

The detail regarding the house was extremely accurate and we found it really clean.

The jacuzzi was greatly appreciated.

The customer service with this property was very outstanding.

Recommendation: take any special kitchen items/ tools/utensils with you that you might need. This includes even basics like salt and pepper, peelers, etc. We were also surprised that while the house comfortably sleeps 7-8, there were only four kitchen chairs.

There is a grocery store, CVS, and a movie theater within about 20 minutes.

I'd highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great getaway. If I have the chance, I'd definitely go back to the Cozy Bear.
