North Captiva Island is the Other Captiva; a unique, southwest coast, Florida barrier island caught in another time...There are No cars, No streetlights, No high-rises, and shorebirds far outnumber people! Our 'roads' are sand paths and besides bikes, we ride on golf carts. Shoes are optional and don't bring a big suitcase. All you need is a bathing suit, shorts, tee shirt, and your favorite suntan lotion! With four and a half miles of pristine, sugar white, sand beach, North Captiva is the Ultimate beach lovers' and water sport vacation spot! Unwind in

The Master Bedroom features a King bed, the Master Guestroom features a Queen. We have a twin bedded guestroom and den/guestroom with twin sized daybed and trundle. This room also features a second satellite TV and recorder.

SEABREEZE holds a membership in the North Captiva Island Club, which offers activities for young children, has two pools, two Har Tru tennis courts, a playground, plus fishing equipment and boat rentals. There are four restaurants on the island and two 'general' stores for basic supplies.

  • In spite of our modern plumbing, most of us prefer using the outdoor shower. It is private and has an attached dressing room. We consider the house to have 2.5+ bathrooms. With the outdoor shower and extra half bath, a family or party of 8 has no trouble sharing the facilities......

SeaBreeze Faces West Overlooking the Gulf:

Seabreeze is situated overlooking the beach and aqua waters of the Gulf of Mexico and is one of a handful of homes with private beach access. The house was badly damaged by Hurricane Charley in August, 2004 and has been totally rebuilt and newly furnished. Everything is brand new!!! Seabreeze was built in the 'Old Florida' style to optimize spacious living and comfort. Bedrooms are on the first floor and the family living space is upstairs! You can watch the sunrise from one side of the house and the sunset from the other. THIS IS A HOUSE FOR DISCRIMINATING CLIENTÈLE WHO APPRECIATE AND RESPECT NICE FURNISHINGS AND WILL TREAT OUR HOME AS IF IT WERE THEIR OWN.

House Was Completely Rebuilt in 2005-06:

Thank you so much for the use of your house. It is AWESOME and beautiful! My family enjoyed the "Big Beach House" and everything that NCIC offered. Our 2 sons loved the beach, turtles, dolphins, pool, boating and most popular, the shelling.

We Have Just Completed the BEST Vacation!

The best we have ever had on North Captiva. This is our 3rd year and we have loved staying at SeaBreeze. We all agree it is the best "fit" for our family. You hav e a nlovely welcoming home -- thank you so much for sharing it with us. Noone of us want to leave! We will think of this bit of Paradise often over the next year (especially during the cold Wisconsin winter!)
We are looking forward to our 4th trip back to this wonderful island.

We Loved Staying at SeaBreeze!

....your beautiful bright, airy home with all the wonders of North Captiva so close -- beach, shells, stars, pool, kayaks, dolphins, golf carts -- family time for special dinners and gatherings on the beach. And, don't forget the ospreys!! Thank you Lyn and Peter, we had a wonderful time.

The Best Vacation!

My family had the most wonderful time at Seabreeze. We stayed there for a week in August and could not have asked for a better vacation. We loved the house and the kids loved the beach access right across the road. We all loved the golf carts and we never saw more than 4 or 5 people on the beach! It was great! We had the pool all to ourselves for most of the vacation.

Thanks Lyn for a great vacation! We'll definitely be back next summer.

Christmas Week Visit

It was a wonderful place for our Annual Family Christmas reunion. The weather was perfect. The house was perfect and we especially were entertained by Lucy and her mate. (Our osprey couple.) Wish we could have stayed to meet the babies. North Captiva is a jewel -- we hope to return!
