Comfortable, classy condo for a great vacation

This unit was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Puerto Rico, and we had a fabulous time! The unit is very tastefully decorated and included many items that you needed during your stay (too many to list, but I will name a few). Additionally, I guess that rather than throwing out unused/sealed supplies (such as bottled water, mayo, syrup, etc.), prior renters leave supplies for the next occupant. Again, these were items that were barely or never used before and sealed. We, in turn, did the same for the next occupants. The unit was extremely comfortable for our family of four. The layout and room sizes were fantastic, and we slept very comfortably. Upon arriving, Mari gave us a welcoming tour, and explained many things that would prove helpful during our stay (where things were located, things we could do, the beach down the short block, etc. - not to mention she has amazing information in a book in the unit) which we found to be excellent and helpful! This unit is a great home base for visiting the eastern area of the Island. We ventured out with a map and visited several fascinating sites during our stay, and always felt comfortable in our surroundings. I won't go crazy with our details, but to sumise, the unit was great and dealing with Mari (owner) was simply a pleasure. She assured us that we could call her for anything and she'd help us out (which I appreciated but I believe it was more fun finding things out on my own--so we never called Mari). Our kids were in heaven with the boogie board that was there for my boy, and the beach toys that were there for my girl. Beach chairs, towels, suntan lotion, toiletries, anything you need is there. Absolutely blew my mind how Mari has thought of everything we might need during our stay. Even Aloe Vera Gel! Washer/Dryer, what a convenience (detergent included)... saved money on food, the view was great, the breeze was amazing (unit has air conditioning, as well). The bbq on the terrace, hot tub, amazingly comfortable for everyone. One of my first comments to Mari was that the photos didn't do the apartment justice, I was very impressed. Such a nice place and private gated parking! Language problems for us or the kids was never a problem. So long as you take the initiative of planning your stay, you will have a great time and will surely get a great value for your money by using this rental. One suggestion: Book ahead, if you look at Mari's calendar, she fills up fast! Enjoy!
