Measuring 1770 square feet, the villa is comfortable, tastefully decorated, and situated on the 5 star Wyndham Grand Golf and Spa Resort. With the use of the villa's golf cart you have access within minutes to a beautiful beach, Wyndham's Resort and its five swimming pools, two championship, 18 hole golf courses, tennis courts (mostly clay), restaurant dining, casino, relaxing spa and kid's club (where your kids can feed an actual Iguana!) The villa also hosts its own beautiful private yet shared pools-all within walking distance.

The villa is conveniently located only 30 minutes from San Juan Airport and Old San Juan, where you can experience Puerto Rico's significant history and culture. It is also located 15 minutes away from 'El Yunque,' Puerto Rico's spectacular tropical rain-forest.

The surrounding hotel is elegant yet family friendly. Perfect for a family vacation or a relaxing and romantic get away.

Nicest most luxurious resort for families in PR!!

This villa is very well maintained, tastefully decorated, and convenient to the rain forest, pool, hotel/casino, beach, spa, tennis courts and golf course. It is great staying on a resort property where you have access to a 5 star hotel and all it’s amenities (including 5 fabulous restaurants, tennis, health club and two golf courses). It was complete luxury vacation, for a fraction of what we’d pay had we stayed at the hotel (and we had a washer/dryer/kitchen and a lot more room).
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Terrific Family Vacation

My family of six, including 2 kids and 2 seniors, all had a terrific stay at this villa in February. This villa is well kept and comfortably furnished. Evelyn, the owner, was easily reached and attentive to a couple of minor issues. We have spent several vacations at Rio Mar Resort and the location of this unit is top. Rio Mar Village is my favorite both for the lushness and beauty of the grounds as well as the private pool. The use of the golf cart is a bonus and makes getting around the resort incredibly easy. My kids enjoyed it almost as much as the main pool at the hotel! It was a great stay and we will be back.

We absolutely loved the villa. It was beautiful and clean, and we felt safe there. The view from the balcony is lovely. We very much enjoyed the amenities of the resort, highly recommend eating at Marbella- delicious! Our experience there was everything we'd hoped for and we'll definitely come back for any future trips.

a wonderful stay at a beautiful villa

We were just looking at photos of our getaway to the villa at Rio Mar. We'll want to preserve the memories of a most wonderful time spent there. Everything was perfect. Sleeping to the sound of palms rustling in the sea breeze, having morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the mountains of the rain forest are but a few of the good memories we've left with. Of course Old San Juan and Loquillo Beach had our attention, but there is something to be said for riding off in the golf cart, lunch in tow, to a private beach we had found, and returned to daily. It really doesn't get any better...

Perfect family place in Rio Mar

The Owner has taken great care to preserve the unit, and everything was as represented and hoped for.
Very spacious unit with large rooms and great outdoor balcony.
Great Location - close to El Yunque, Ferries from Fajardo, Old San Juan
Fantastic Beach with beach frontage in front of the large resort hotel and private area for more solo time
Access to resort hotel pool and more seclulded pool west on teh beach was a definite plus
Use fo teh golf cart was perfect for the distance to the beach.
Perfect for families who need some elbow room - rather than a hotel room
Our Kids 8, 12, and 14, loved the place
Resort is well secured and very well maintained.
Will definitely return at some time in the future.
