Osage Beach Vacation Rental condo

My family and I were so pleased with our vacation condo.
The first night three or four of us went down to see the ducks. We had to look over the railing to see them. Our 17 month old granddaughter, Ella, got so excited she spit out her pacifier and it went in the water, probably 15-20 feet below. My daughter said we had to have that pacifier. My son said he would go to Wal-Mart and get her another one. My daughter said that Ella started life with 6 pacifiers and had lost all of them except this one and when it was gone there were to be no more. However, Ella was teething, was running a fever, was in a pack n play, sleeping in the condo closet and my daughter didn't feel this was the time to take the pacifier away, but she wasn't going to buy another one. I ran to the swimming pool and brought back the long pole with a hook on the end. My son tried for perhaps 15 minutes to haul in the pacifier with no luck. We yelled up to our son-in-law who was in the condo and told him to throw down a Wal-Mart bag thinking if we attached it to the pole we could get the pacifier. No luck. After another 15 minutes, the bag came off in the water. Again we yelled up and said, "send down a large kitchen garbage bag.". After a few minutes the pacifier was rescued. I am sure all the vacationers thought we had lost a very expensive item since we worked so hard to get it back and all those who were on the balconies cheered like crazy by our successful rescue. Oh, yes, my daughter boiled the pacifier for 15-20 minutes and little Ella was as happy as a lark. She is still teething and still happily sucking away on her last pacifier. My daughter said, "this is a memory" and she photographed the rescue.
Your condo is lovely and we hope to come back again. It is just perfect: so close to the mall, Miner Mikes and eating establishments.
