Fully furnished 2 bedroom, king & queen & 1 twin roll-a-way beds+crib . Complete kitchen with full sized fridge, stove/oven, microwave oven & dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, toaster & blender. My Mother bought this farm in 1951 and the main house was a bed and breakfast until 1963, now our family private residence. The Catskill Mountain region was America's first vacation site. We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at this farm. The quiet nights and mornings, the outside fireplace, the animals, the local sceneries... And all combined with the great hospitality of Ms. Gioja made it an unforgettable weekend. Ms Gioja is very proud of what she does, she enjoys every aspect; and it shows. We were met with great hospitality, and a spotless-clean home. She thought of every detail to make our stay a comfortable and perfect one. We will certainly be back.

Really enjoyed being at this lovely cottage in the Catskill Mountains. My young children were thrilled to ride on one of the owner's two horses, and to take a ride in the woods in her four-wheeler. Turkeys and geese and ducks and deer walked practically up to the front door each day. The grounds were lovely and quiet, and the house was clean, well-kept, and stocked with practically everything. A wonderful place, and I highly recommend it.

Idyllic pasture

We spent an extended weekend in this bucolic idyll. Elizabeth is a wonderful host as well as a talented photographer and painter and someone who loves her animals. The children especially enjoyed Socks and Deja, petting them and feeding them , as well as seeing the wild turkeys and geese and of course the deer. The cottage itself was perfect for us with 3 generations including 3 children 6,2, and 7 months. Anything and everything we needed was here , even special skewers for s'mores. In the Catskills this is a great place to stay.

If you are looking for a relaxing and cozy place to spend a long weekend at - Pine Ridge Farm is perfect for that. Great views, clean and comfortable Carriage house, outdoor BBQ, closeness to the Windham and Hunter mountains all this combined with very pleasant and warming hospitality offered by the owner make Pine Ridge Farm one of my favorite places to spend short getaways at. We are definitely coming back in the summer!

My heart stopped...

when I saw the snowy landscape from the backyard of this little house.

This was a very last minute getaway. I was still in school when I got a call from my friends saying that they wanted to go to Catskills for a weekend stay. Liz, who is the owner of the house was kind enough to let us have it for the weekend on such late notice.

When I first arrived, there was an immediate change in the weather. It was bitter cold. It was a 10 degree difference from NYC where we were coming from. I was definitely not warming up to the Catskills. However, my mind changed when I entered this little house. Being that I am from the city, living in a small apartment, this house had everything that I could ever want in a home. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and cookware. I like to cook, so this is a plus. There was one bedroom on the first floor and a master bedroom on the 2nd floor. The master bedroom was spacious and like the previous reviewer mentioned, the bed could easily fit 3 people. If you have a large group, there is also one cot and 2 couches. The bed downstairs can fit 2 adults or 3 kids. There were also plenty of comforters and pillows. This place was spacious, clean and cozy.

The next morning, we woke up to find lots of deer and turkey in the backyard! Since, I love animals and I love taking pictures, this was a good opportunity to get some good shots. I have never seen deer this up close and personal before and I have never seen wild turkeys in my entire life. I began to like Catskills more and more.

As far as activities went, we were not prepared to go do any winter activities like skiing or snowboarding. However, we did go sledding with the plastic sleds that was found outside of the house and boy was that fun.

By the way, I forgot to mention that Liz is a total sweetheart. She offered one of the guys a pair of gloves to go sledding with since she saw that we were not properly prepared. She also provided us with firewood in case we wanted to roast marshmallows in the backyard. On our last day, she allowed us to take pictures with her beautiful horses and also allowed us to feed them carrots. You can tell that Liz cared about her guests and wanted them to enjoy their time there. We couldn't ask for more.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to all friends and relatives. In fact, I wouldn't mind going back in the summertime. The scenery was simply breathtaking and looked as if it came straight out of a postcard.
