Ko Olina Vacation Rental villa

We had a great month's stay at this condo. It is perfect for a family of four, but could probably comfortably sleep six at the max in the three bedrooms. Our high expectations were definitely met -- the condo is quiet, beautifully upgraded, clean, comfortable, and practically furnished and supplied, especially the kitchen. My husband appreciated the office, and I loved the upstairs lanai. Our 13 year old daughter had no complaints!

The owners/rental agent were flexible and helpful. There is a lot of construction going on nearby for new hotel/retail/shops, but it is not visible from the condo. The Ko Olina resort is very well-kept and the lagoons (5-10 minute walk or very short drive with scarce parking) are great for young kids. Along the lagoons is a wonderful 3+ mile walking path. We did not use the main pool much, but there is a small, quiet pool very near the condo.

Ko Olina is about 25 minutes from the airport, and 45 minutes (with ever-present traffic) to Waikiki. It's also about 45 minutes to the beaches on the north shore, and these are especially worth the drive. There are a few nearby beaches, but plan on driving often as nothing compares to Sunset or Waimea or even Lanikai on the windward side. Plus, the drives are peaceful and beautiful.

The nearby Costco and Target are super convenient for stocking up. Roy's restaurant (walking distance on the golf course) is delicious as was Azul at the JW Marriott. We would recommend a stay at this property to anyone -- you won't be disappointed. Aloha!
