Welcome to Brookwood Cabin, a very special log cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This new log cabin features all the best of the High Country including a great location, lovely setting and view, 5 bedrooms (sleeps 12), 3 baths, hot tub and a game room with a pool table and foosball table. Cabin includes level access, two fireplaces, flat screen TV, gourmet kitchen with granite counters and all new appliances. There is also a large wrap around deck with comfy rocking chairs! For your outside enjoyment, we've created a firepit with grill and picnic table. Brookwood is located just a ten minute drive from Historic Valle Crucis, and also is well located to area ski resorts(10-20 minutes), Boone (10 minutes), Blowing Rock (15 minutes), and Grandfather Mountain. We love this gorgeous area of our country and really enjoy sharing it with others. We hope Brookwood Cabin will be a welcoming home for you during your High Country vacation!

Main Level: A huge plus of this cabin is the level walk-in ramp that leads to the main floor. This allows for easy unloading of your car or better access for those with limited mobility. The main level features a beautiful living area with 2 story stone fireplace (gas logs), flat screen TV, dining area, gourmet kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. The first bedroom has 1 queen and the other bedroom has 2 queens. The bath has a large shower with bench and a laundry closet with full size washer and dryer. The wonderful kitchen features granite counters, all new appliances and is well appointed for all your cooking needs. There is a large wrap around deck with comfy rocking chairs to enjoy both the views of the mountains and the lovely forest nestled beside the cabin.

Upper level: This floor features 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. One bedroom is a large master bedroom suite with a gorgeous king sleigh bed and sitting/TV area. The other bedroom has 1 queen bed and the full bath has double sinks and a shower/tub combination.

Lower Level: This floor features a large bedroom with a lovely king poster bed, full bath, den area with fireplace (gas logs) and game table for a round of cards or tackling a jigsaw puzzle. Also on this floor is a large recreation room. This recreation room has a pool table and foosball table for lots of fun during your stay. Step right outside the den French doors and you will find a large hot tub where you can unwind after a fun day in the High Country.

Ski: Appalachian and Sugar Mountain Ski Resorts are within 10-15 minutes from the cabin. Beech Ski Resort is 20 minutes. Hawk's Nest has been turned into one of the biggest tubing parks in the state and is only 15 minutes away.

Golf: There are numerous golf courses to choose from. Most are within a few minutes from the cabin and several others are about 30-40 minutes away.
