Ideal location

This house is in a PERFECT location. We had the best time here and can't wait to go back, would stay here again without hesitation. We make trips to Key West annually with a group of friends and for the location and space this is the best value we have found so far. Literally steps to Duval. Sloppy Joes, Irish Kevins, Ricks all within a couple of blocks. Everyone had their own space. The pool and patio area is absolutely gorgeous. The landscaping is beautiful, plenty of seating for everyone, very private. It was nice to have it all to ourselves. The pool does not get sun for more than an hour so don't plan on sunbathing there but it was perfect for cooling down after walking up and down Duval in the heat all day. The rental staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful around, everyone was so nice! The only complaint I have is the master bdrm on the 3rd floor gets VERY hot during the day and takes a long time to cool off at night. There is a wall a/c unit but it is located near the stairs on the very farthest wall from the bed, they could really use a 2nd unit in this room due to the many windows and skylights and the square footage (this room is HUGE) it just gets unbearably hot and the 1 a/c wall unit does little to cool it off. The bathroom has skylights and since it is separate from the bedroom there was just no way to cool it off so showering was a bit uncomfortable, you were sweating as soon as you got out (there is a levered door which does not allow much privacy either). Once we figured out how to get the ceiling fans to work on top volume it did help some in the bedroom area at night and was more comfortable. But every other bedroom in the house and all of the common areas were very comfortable, no problems at all with the a/c cooling those areas. On a side note, it is advertised as 1 car parking but if you have 2 small vehicles and aren't worried about moving them in and out (drive is narrow so would need to park 1 in front of the other), the driveway is plenty long enough to fit both vehicles with no intrusion to the sidewalk. Suggestions for places to eat, Blue Heaven is a MUST for breakfast Lobster Eggs Benedict is to DIE FOR (off the beaten path but very popular so plan on a good 45 mins or so wait) Went to A&B Lobster House for dinner one night and it was fantastic (a little pricy so plan for that) I was literally able to cut my filet mignon with a fortk (located down near the marina).
