A Short Stroll To The Beach: Blue Skies sits amidst oaks three empty lots back from the beach with no busy streets to cross when strolling to the beach. To get to the Blue Mountain Beach public access, one walks past two empty lots on oyster-shell Sand Dunes Road, turns right onto Blue Mountain Drive for three lots to find the access on your left. The total distance is approximately 150 yards.

An easy 150 yard stroll to the beach on a quiet sea shell road.
Guest Book: An April 2, 2004 Blue Skies Guest Book Poem: Four lady friends did leave their homes From Indiana they did roam... A week of respite they did seek From elementary school jobs they felt weak. Blue Skies it is! And so Saturday at 7, They found themselves in a bit of heaven. The pool so blue, the beds so soft, And Paradise found - a hammock aloft! The sun did shine, the stars came out, They found so much to be happy about! The books they read at beach or pool, The beer they drank! (But kept their cool...) The food they ate, some not on the diet, Key lime pie! Chips & cookies! (But being good friends, they kept quiet!) Dinner out was an event - Red Bar, Cafe 30-A, We always found treats to end our day. The week flew by, but then again not, As we savored moments & laughed ALOT!
