House, 7 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

Location, location, location. Saltair is located right in the middle of the desirable Brant Point area, one block from the Outer Harbor, a short walk to town, and equal distance to Jetties and Children's Beaches.

Step back in time to a rambling, family friendly, turn of the century summer 'cottage' with 7 bedrooms. It's a casual home, great for big families and get-togethers with friends.

A large wrap around porch with a swing and a hammock is great for relaxing and finishing that book you started on the beach or gathering for cocktails and supper. The porch has a protected area with a table to seat 8. Plenty of yard space for tag and backyard BBQ's.

The dining room indoors seats 12. The kitchen is roomy and accommodates family cooking.

Saltair provides an excellent place to base your vacation on Nantucket. It is a family friendly summer home with all of the basics, but none of the fluff. If you are looking for designer furniture and white carpets, then Saltair is not for you.

Go Green. Rent Salt Air. We left our car behind and brought our bikes A short stroll to town and beach, you will love this location and best of all, it's on a quiet street. The house is situated on a double lot so privacy is a plus. Its cottage feel and old Nantucket charm is very appealing. If you are looking for a sub zero and a Viking stove, rent somewhere else. If you are looking for a clean, well maintained beach house with Nantucket at your fingertips, Salt Air is a great choice.

i have stayed at SaltAir, several times, in the early summer and late summer. It is a clean, comfortable but not fancy summer home. If filled up it gives everyone space, if not one can be comfortable just using the first floor. Best part, you don't have to use your car to go to the beach or to town, or better yet for an evening ice cream cone! The covered porch extends the space for dining and relaxing. Staying there really gives you the feel of a classic old Nantucket home.
