House, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

It's just a short walk to beautiful Lambert's Cove beach from this lovely 4 bedroom, 2 bath custom contemporary. The house is in 'like-new' condition. We recently finished a complete renovation including new decks, central air conditioning, windows, siding, carpeting, complete interior painting, plumbing and electrical upgrades.

The open, airy layout with large decks on three levels provide plenty of room for outdoor summer living. There are three bedrooms (queen and 2 doubles), and the laundry facility on the first level. Two of the bedrooms open directly onto the first level deck. The second level has the living and dining area and the kitchen. The living area opens on to a large deck with gas grill. Another bedroom with attached bathroom, a separate deck and a lovely area to just sit and read complete the third level of the house.

The house is located on a quiet road partially up a hill that gets cooling breezes off Vineyard Sound. There is a private yard for children to play.

New carpeting throughout the house, new outdoor gas grill, new refrigerator, new kitchen stove, new water conditioner system.

New for 2010: Wireless broadband internet

Transferrable ferry tickets available for some weeks

Great house, perfect location

My family has rented this house for a few summers, and we love it! The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and completely comfortable -- the decks are great. There is a yard where kids can throw around a ball. We also think it's the ideal location -- remote and woodsy but easy access to Vineyard Haven, stores, etc. Lambert's Cove Beach is among the best on the island, plus Seth's Pond is great for little ones. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay very much -- the house is wonderful! Everyone felt very comfortable and relaxed - we called it our "tree house"
