Sunset View is a platinum condo located in the middle of Cruz Bay, St. John. The unit is about 630 sq. ft. with a clever design that fits a bedroom, bath, kitchen, living room and dining area into a moderate sized space. A 28 X 5 ft. deck runs along the side of this condo and a 12 X 7 ft. wall of glass allows pleasant views from anywhere within. This unit contains a washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and AC. This is a non-smoking condo and is not suited for children. Sunset View is on the 3rd floor of a 3 story building, so you're high enough to overlook the other buildings in town. Considering you're in Cruz Bay, this view is quite picturesque. The view shows St. Thomas and neighboring islands, memorable Caribbean sunsets and the lights of St. Thomas at night. You're in the middle of action in Cruz Bay and for a small island town, Cruz Bay, has a lot going on. But if you get restless, walk 4 minutes down to the ferry and go to St. Thomas, Tortola, or Jost Van Dyke.

St. John is the smallest of the 3 United States Virgin Islands. Two-Thirds of the island is national park land and the remaining is small towns with shopping and homes. St. John averages a daily temperatures of 88 degrees and varies 5-7 degrees from winter and summer months. The nights are always comfortably warm, even in the winter. Rainfall usually happens during the night in brief and rarely does a storm last more than a day. Once you are in St. John, it is less than a 5-minute walk from everything in Cruz Bay; you don't need to rent a jeep, and you can spend the $450 you save on a jeep rental on pain killer's at Woody's, diving, snorkeling, sailing, eating at amazing restaurants or shopping at Mongoose Junction. If you decide to rent a jeep, you can explore the entire island including Coral Bay. There is great snorkeling, diving, fishing, boating, restaurants, night life, music, hiking in the national parks and visiting a variety of islands nearby.

Great place to stay

Perfect place to stay. The condo was very clean, modern, had all the ammenties you would ever need. The balcony is a great place to sit and relax at the end of the day and watch the sunset. Becky (the owner) told us about all there is to do around the area wether it was within walking distance or driving distance. I would recommend this condo to anybody and will definitely return if the future permits us to.

My husband & I recently spent 5 days at Sunset View condo. The size of the condo was perfect for the 2 of us. Waking up every morning to a view of the beautiful Caribbean water was incredible. We also liked that there was a small grocery store just steps away. The restaurants, shops and ferry landing were all within walking distance of the condo which made it easy for exploring Cruz Bay in the evenings. There is a great variety of places to eat, drink and shop. The island beaches and coral reefs are amazing. We can't wait to return!

What a fantastic trip I just had to St. John. The condo was everything I expected and more. Perfect in every way. Well equiped, GREAT location, and very nicely decorated. I will be back again and highly recommend this property. Must check out Hinds Restaurant, Crazy Crackers, Paradiso. I was able to see several beachs all within a short taxi ride, no need for a car rental. Jost Van Dyke was a blast as well. Please send my hello's to Walter (Executive Chef, of Hinds). Ideal spot in Cruz Bay, St. John

We just returned from our stay at Sunset View in Cruz Bay, St. John USVI. It was absolutely perfect for our needs on this trip. We were familiar with the island, so we knew that we wanted, which was a spot that was clean,nice and centrally located to ammenities that are on the island instead of having to taxi around. We don't have kids ( this condo is not ideal for couples with children ) and it was nice to be able to stroll through Cruz Bay at night for dinner, drinks or to shop close by. Within steps from the front door of this condo is the grocery store, Cruz Bay Sports, rental car, the ferry plus so much more! We enjoy snorkeling and this was ideal for us to zip around in our rented car beach hopping, so we didn't miss having a pool nor did we feel guilty about staying at a resort and not utlizing it like we had in the past. St. John is an island that should be explored when visited. It is an amazing place!
Sunsetview is decorated tastefully and nicely updated. It is a charming condo that has a really neat layout. It has every single modern appliance that one would need. The view is amazing from the condo - it is situated up on the hill, so you overlook Cruz Bay and St. Thomas- stunning with a sunset too! We appreciated the owner very much too - very responsive and pleasant to communicate with.
We recommend this rental hands down!
