Palamos is the nearest coastal town to Girona Airport and is a real living community, not a brash tourist resort. It has a commercial port, a fishing port and marina. The Bay of Palamos has a beach and promenade that curves round for 2 miles and then has little secluded coves. Our apartments are placed right in the centre next to shops, near the restaurants and bars and just 300m to the bus station. THE 3-BEDROOM APARTMENT is ideal for up to 6 persons with 2 double bedrooms and one with 2 singles. There is a kitchen with gas hob, microwave oven and refrigerator. THE 2-PERSON STUDIO is a double bedroom with private bathroom and balcony. It has a fridge, kettle and dishes etc. for making breakfast and snacks. THE FAMILY APARTMENT has a double bed and two single beds, private bathroom and balcony. It has a living/dinig room with a sofa-bed and a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom has a double bed and 2 single beds.

Make the most of your low-cost flights with this 2 person accommodation. Double room with en-suite bathroom, balcony and light catering facilities. The room is equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, plates, cups and cutlery for making breakfast and for takeaway meals and light snacks. There is a small table and 2 chairs. We believe this is much better than bed&breakfast. It is rented on a self-catering basis but there is not a full kitchen. The location is town centre with all the facilities of the town on hand. The bus station, beach and all the bars and restaurants are about 250 metres. OUR MINIMUM STAY IS USUALLY 3 NIGHTS BUT WE HAVE VARIOUS SPACES DURING THE SEASON SO FEEL FREE TO ASK IF YOU ONLY NEED ONE OR TWO NIGHTS. PERHAPS WE CAN HELP OUT: It is a great base for walking. The local council have cleared, repaired and signposted a superb network of footpaths and cycle tracks both along the coast and back into the hinterland.

Car: not necessary
Just head straight out from Girona airport towards the coast and you can be in Palamos in about half an hour. If you want to come by taxi it will cost €50 to €60 depending on time of day and luggage etc. There is a direct bus for most parts of the day or you can come by bus via Girona (about €8 per person) Palamos is a live working Catalan town and our apartment is right in the centre. Come and be one of the locals for a week. It is a very friendly town and the cost of food and shopping in general is much less than most other parts of Europe.

Notes: This self-catering studio-room is ideal for people who want minimum cooking. There is a fridge, toaster, electric kettle, microwave and cutlery and dishes for light meals. A large supermarket is within 50 yards and there are bakeries, delicatessens and takeaway shops. Most restaurants serve a daily menu for as little as 8 or 9 Euros. But please note there is no cooker. There is a small table and chairs. It is rented on a self-catering basis. If you have a small infant we have a cot at no extra cost but you need to bring bedclothes.

a really nice place to stay, better than a hotel or hostel and cheaper than proper self catering! also palamos is really lovely, not touristy at all. really diverse place as well - beach and town and near to barcelona and girona for cities!
