This beautiful semi-detached villa is situated in a small private complex on the coast of El Medano. Fully furnished throughout in local Canarian style; the spacious lounge/dining room is complete with 2 fans, tv & cd player and DVD player. From the lounge area you have direct access to the furnished patio and garden/barbecue. The patio overlooks the sea & lovely communal swimming pool; complete with sun loungers and shower. The fully fitted kitchen includes oven, hob, fridge, microwave & washing machine. The first floor comprises of 2 bedrooms (1 master, 1 twin), both with en suite bathrooms (toilet, shower, washing facilities). The master bedroom has a balcony which enjoys panoramic sea views. Outside there is private parking space. Within a few minutes walk from the villa there is a fabulous beach. The villa is 25 minutes walk (2 min drive) from the town centre offering a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, friendly white beaches and amenities (such as taxis/public transport..).

El Medano is a coastal resort in the sunny South of Tenerife. It has large flat white sandy beaches on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and is famous for wind-surfing. The town is a relaxed, multicultural town with bars, restaurants and shops. The local people are very friendly and helpful. El Medano is not exploited (no hooligans or street touts pestering all the time) as the bigger resorts (Las Americas or Los Cristianos). El Medano is located about 10 mins drive from the airport, and 20 mins from the busy resorts of Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos with easy access to all major roads, motorways and links to local attractions and beauty spots. Villa 6, Las Dunas is found on the main coast road, just passed the Hotel Atlantic Playa. A few minutes walk from the villa is a small cove with its own sheltered beach. The surrounding area is mainly villas and in general a very peaceful place, yet only 5 mins drive from the main truck roads. It is highly recommended that you hire a car.

about el medano: El Medano is known as the wind surfing and kite surfing capital of Tenerife and it holds the world championship wind surfing tournaments. El Medano is an ideal place for sun worshippers as it is the home to the largest natural beaches in Tenerife. It has a 2 km of soft , dimpled sand that coasts up to Montana Roja. There are natural reserves- Montana Roja and Montana Pelada within striking distances. These volcanoes make for a dramatic backdrop of El Medano. There are many paths nearby used for leisurely walks and biking.

Taxi to the villa.: Taxi to the villa from the airport should cost you about 15 euros bit we can provide to pick you and drop you back to the airport for 15 euros each way. There is a spar supermarket in the nearby Arenas Del Mar hotel which is about 800 yards away from the villa and lots of big supermarkets and restaurants in the centre of El Medano. If you are planning to take surfing equipments then we can give you permission to store them in the garage provided you will let us know in advance.
