Cottage is located 15 minutes from Brevard, 5 minutes from Mills River, 10 minutes from Asheville airport, 20 minutes from Hendersonville. The front door (upper level) opens to a large deck (partially covered) with a breath taking view of a 5 acre private stocked pond (fishing permitted) with the mountains of Pisgah National Forest in the background. The rear covered deck off the lower level sits 6 feet from a small stocked pond, relax and enjoy feeding and viewing Koi, Bream, and Grass Carp. Outdoor grills are located on both decks for your convenience.

Great, relaxing place to stay outside of Asheville

My wife, 2 dogs, and I had the pleasure of staying in this cottage while vacationing in the Asheville area. The cottage was clean and included everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The small koi pond with the small waterfall out front was great along with the lake with small deck for fishing in back! It's about 25 mins away from downtown Asheville and a short drive to Hendersonville and Brevard. It's also conveniently located to a gas station and grocery store, but far away from everything to make you feel like you're out in the country!

Thanks Jeff for a great place to stay while on vacation!

My husband and I stayed at the cottage a week ago, and boy, was it great! First of all, like another reviewer said, the pictures don't do it justice! Everything is very clean and the furniture was well selected for that mountain feel. Mr. Jeff was a really great host and was really helpful with local information and directions. We didn't want to leave, and we will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and stay at the cottage, I am sure you will be as pleased as we were!

Amazing place

We held a small wedding reception here of about 30 people and had a wonderful time. The house its self is very well kept and lots of space. The best part for us was the huge deck on the back looking out at the lake. The deck has a grill and lots of chairs, plus fans on the covered half. The lake its self is stocked full of bass and other fish along with a small paddle boat. We caught lots of bass during out stay. The gentleman who owns it, Jeff, is very helpful and goes far out of his way to make sure you enjoy your visit. After staying here some of my friends booked it for a few weeks later and we will be returning. Just can't say enough nice things.

Great Vacation Spot

We loved the cabin and our week long stay. It was so spacious and so clean. We enjoyed grilling out on 2 nights on the upper deck, watching the geese. The paddleboat was loads of fun too.? I would highly recommend this cabin.

This place was absolutely amazing and the owner, Mr. Jeff, made you feel so at home when you arrive! Hopefully we will be able to return to this beautiful place in the near future for another vacation getaway!
