Come enjoy this well appointed home on a cul de sac street on over an acre of land just minutes from Downtown Union Pier. The house offers a wood burning fireplace, screened in porch and an outdoor hot tub. The garden can be enjoyed while siting on the front deck listening to the ponds running water or sitting on the back deck enjoying the hot tub and its privacy. If you decide to wonder, go and enjoy the Four Winds Casino or the Whittaker Woods Golf Coarse. You will also find two great wineries within five minutes from the house. The private beach is located three minutes away. Union Pier offers great antique shopping and quaint restaurants. If you are looking for something more active go kayaking down the Galien River into Lake Michigan or enjoy the many biking and hiking trails. In the cooler months come to see Fall in its glory with the changing of the leaves or the pumpkin picking. If winter is your thing try cross country skiing located twenty minutes away.

Seclusion and Convenience is true to its name!

My husband and I stayed at Seclusion and Convenience for our anniversary and it was the perfect get-away spot. The house is immaculate and it has all the amenities for either a romantic trip or a weekend with friends and family. The pictures truly do not do this home justice. You can see tall trees out every window and the pond and unique pathway in the front yard make you fee like you are in the middle of nowhere, even though it's conveniently located less than 2 hours from Chicago. The owners are extremely helpful with tips and hints on all their favorite spots to dine at for every occasion. Our dog was in Heaven with so much land to run around and play and we were amazed at how well decorated and kept the house was both inside and out, and for such a reasonable price. The lighting around the yard gives it a warm and cozy feel and the screened in porch, large deck complete with a hot tub make this a perfect spot for anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors without going to far from the city. We will definitely rent from Waya Rentals again!

from our first approach to the house i knew we were in for a treat! the beautiful landscaping, the wonderful coy pond, the vintage lawn chairs... ahhh. a great house for a relaxed getaway with friends and family. we truly had a wonderful time!

One Great Place!

We absolutely loved this vacation rental and plan to return! It is everything described in the advertisement and more! The amenities are first class (the photos do not do this property justice) so you will be very happy with the actual appearance and comfortable, yet very elegant layout. If you enjoy cooking, the upscale country-gourmet style kitchen will be a treat. The owners were fantastic and very helpful. They were even nice enough to put up a Christmas tree and lights, since we were at the house up to Christmas day.

The property is perfect as a romantic secluded getaway and we are sure also perfect for a solo or family getaway. Another great thing for anyone coming from Chicago is that it is so close to the city but feels so far away. So, in our case, we really had a wonderful, relaxing winter holiday that did not take us years to reach! There were plenty of things to do in the Union Pier area (even in winter) and many afternoon or day trip options such as Saugatuck, St. Joseph. We lucked out and had a very sunny mild Christmas day so we were able to take a quiet unobstructed very long walk on the private beach located near the house which, we are sure, is excellent during the summer months.

We highly recommend this property as a perfect vacation rental!

I just want everyone to know that my family has rented in the past from this owner a could not be happier. Last year we rented his log cabin in New Buffalo Mi. and were amazed by how beautiful it was. This year we called to rent the cabin again and it was booked. The owner informed us of his new property in Union Pier and based on are past history we decided to rent the new home. The house is so close to everything but due to the land has so much privacy and could not be more charming. The owner makes a point to go out of his way to make each of his properties as comfortable as possible. We will definetly return, and we highly recommend you stay if you get a chance.
