This fully equipped 3 Bed / 2 Bath home is on a larger than usual plot and in the prestigious gated community of Heritage Harbour. It has its own heated pool offering great South / South West lake and golf views and features a 35' wide screened lanai / pool / deck which is ideal for swimming or just lazing around watching the plentiful lakeside wildlife and golfers struggling to tame the tricky 5th hole of lovely Stoneybrook Golf Course. The villa has full air conditioning / heating, is spacious and airy and features many upgrades. There is a large central lounge / fully fitted open kitchen with breakfast area, dining area, den, laundry room (washer & dryer) and a 2 car automatic garage. High grade carpets and tiles have been used throughout.

Golf: This area is, without doubt, a golfers paradise with over 50 courses to choose from within the Sarasota / Bradenton area ! Four of the very best are within 5 - 10 minutes ie Stoneybrook , River Strand, Waterlefe and The Links each of which is well worth playing and has plenty of wildlife ! Green fees vary by season / time of day (often cheaper after 2pm) but are very good ($30-$80). Stoneybrook: you're on it, the villa overlooks a lake and the challenging 5th hole! A real test of golf played through mature 'Preserve' landscape, lakes and ponds. The Links at Greenfield Plantation: good public course just down the road with open fairways but plenty of water / out of bounds. Waterlefe: an absolute must! It really is a challenge for all levels of golfers and offers 5 different sets of tees.There are some unforgettable holes carved along side the scenic Manatee River. River Strand: Although new, already 27 holes of some of the best golf in the area with the latest 9 holes winding their way alongside the Manatee River. As a keen golfer myself, I am more than happy to give recommendations/advice to guests on where/when to play.

Delightful Stay in Bradenton Villa

We spent 10 days in Neil and Lesley's villa over the Easter period. The property is quite new and in tip top condition. It is large and airy with a good standard of fittings, including cable TV. The swimming pool looks out over a small lake which has its own resident bird and pond life, herons, cormorants, ducks and turtles. Large hawks circled overhead and we were told that there was also an alligator but we never saw it. The property is surrounded by golf courses and we watched as golfers teed off on the far bank of the pond. The villa is situated on a high class gated community on the outskirts of Bradenton. The town centre has little to enthuse about but is well placed for some fabulous beaches and has excellent links to surrounding towns and cities. Wall Mart and Publix Supermarkets are a 5 minute drive away as are countless restaurants. The outlet shopping mall at Ellenton is only a short drive and the big malls around Tampa are about an hour away. In addition to sunbathing and shopping Busch Gardens at Tampa is well worth a visit and in the opposite direction Sarasota, Venice and the Myakka State Park are easily reached. We enjoyed our stay very much and got the chance to meet the owner Neil who is a very nice chap.
