Wonderful Place for Families
We are a family of four who stayed here for a week. The rental was larger than we expected and the layout was very convenient with two separate bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom.There were more than ample supplies for cooking and plenty of linens. There were even some cards, Mancala,Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs. We have two young boys, so the large grassy yard and tree swing were a treat. The yard itself is like a little sanctuary with large birds of paradise trees and other colorful flora nestled around the building. We loved having leisurely morning coffee-time outside in the Adirondack chairs before the marine layer burned off. The owners were extremely gracious and answered all of our questions. There was a ton of beach equipment (surf board, kayak, beach toys, etc) and Cruisers for lazy rides around the strand. A definite savings on rental fees! This apartment is so close to the quiet bay, you can see it from the front gate. Mission Beach is only a bit farther in the other direction across the street. We enjoyed going over to Garnet Street for Five Guys burgers and lots of other shopping, but there are taco shops, pizza and a little market just around the block if you need something close. The location is perfect. I highly recommend this beach rental... what a great place!
