About Charles & Sharon Morgan
We, the Morgans, have owned the Fox's Den Chalet for 17 years. How quickly time flies!
We live in southeastern Indiana (close to Cincinnati, OH)- we have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Our daughter has 4 children and they enjoy the Fox's Den with us at least 2 times a year. Our youngest grandchild lives in Texas and has not made a trip to Gatlinburg yet, but am sure it will be in his future.
We take great pride in keeping the Fox's Den a 'Home Away from Home' for our guests. We realize if we go the extra mile, our guests will have a pleasant experience in the beautiful Gatlinburg area.
Whether it be a 3-day weekend or a 2-week vacation, memories last a life-time and we hope you and your family will create wonderful memories in the Fox's Den Chalet as our family has done over the last 17 years.
Charles & Sharon Morgan purchased this cabin in 1997
Why Charles & Sharon Morgan chose Gatlinburg
The Fox's Den is close to the Arts and Craft Loop area, which is filled with local artists who offer their own hand-made items. This makes it a very unique area.
What makes this cabin unique
The Fox's Den is off Rt. 321, on a dead-end street which makes it ideal for children and pets. It also offers privacy, while only a 5-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. It is close to the Gatlinburg Community Center which offers bowling, racquetball, inside Olympic-size pool, exercise equipment, basketball etc. at very reasonable pricing.
It is also close to the Greenbriar entrance to the Smoky Mountains. This is a very special place where you can swim, do some fly fishing and even have a picnic among the beautiful scenery.
Guestbook comments from the owner
The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. However, we were disapointed that the 'second bedroom' was only a loft room and was not enclosed. This was uncomfortable for two couples traveling together because of the lack of privacy. Also we could not use the hot tub because it was dirty.
