Royal Palm is a tranquil attractive Andalulsian village styled complex on the outskirts of Los Cristianos on the sunny south side of Tenerife. All apartments are privately owned. Our well equipped apartment with washing machine, Satellite TV, CD & DVD player overlooks a pool and palm trees from its large balcony. The light, well furnished lounge has french windows opening on to the balcony as does the large bedroom with comfortable beds. The highly regarded complex is a peaceful place to enjoy your holiday with walkways amid the beautiful tropical gardens. There are two free form swimming pools, one of these is heated over the winter months. The owner's office has an internet cafe. There are several bars and restaurants in the vicinity, a good supermarket close by, and the Beverley Hills resort has sports, gym and entertainment which can all be used, just over the road. The beaches and centre of Los Cristianos are just 10 min walk. Taxi rank outside for convenience.

Our ground floor 1-bed superior apartment is comfortably furnished; nice and bright is situated in the centre of this lovely complex. The wide balcony gets sun through the summer months and looks out onto an island of four palm trees with one of the pools in the background. The bedroom has large twin beds which can be made up as double if required, plenty of storage space and has double doors onto the balcony. The lounge has comfortable sofa bed (with proper mattress) and a dining area and also french doors to the balcony. There is satellite TV with 20+ channels, including BBC, ITV & SKY, a DVD and CD player. The well equipped American kitchen has a conventional and microwave oven, and fridge. There is also a washing machine and a safe in the apartment for your use . There is now a convenient internet cafe/e-mail point in owners office.

Royal Palm is set in the foothills of Los Cristianos with several restaurants, bars and a good supermarket close-by. The town is just ten minutes walk away with its bustling streets and busy harbour. There are many shops, over 150 bars and restaurants and some lovely beaches from the natural at the Guaza mountain side to the fine white sand of San Telmo Vista beach. The main centre of the town is pedestrianised as is the promenade which goes from Guaza Mountain all the way to La Caleta, about 9 kilometres. Ferries from the port visit La Gomera, Las Palmas, El Hierro and there are numerous boat trips to see the whales or to go fishing. There are plenty of buses to neighbouring seaside villages and Santa Cruz is 35min away on the bus. There are many good walks in the area and an excellent Sunday Market!

ROYAL PALM: Royal Palm has an owners office which has Internet/e-mail cafe, safe deposit boxes, holds leaflets on excursions and local attractions and sells newspapers. There are local 'free' newspapers which contain lots of local information on shops restaurants and programmes of anything special going on at the Cultural centre in town such as processions or carnivals. Royal Palm is ideally situated about ten minutes from the airport. The complex has a taxi rank outside and is only ten minutes walk to the Bus Station from where you can get buses to all over the Island at a reasonable cost. There are many excursions on offer with 'free buses' which stop at Paradise Park just over the road from us. These go to Los Aguilas, the fantastic animal park, and the Aqua Park. We can also offer other apartments on Royal Palm from studios to 2-bedroom superior apartments. Ask for details.

GOLFING IN THE AREA and SPORT: GOLF:Tenerife has enviable conditions in which to play golf. The island has nine excellent courses, each of which has different topography’s and landscapes and are designed by world-class professionals such as Pepe Gancedo, Donald Steel, Severiano Ballesteros and John Jacobs. The hosting of important PGA tournaments is a regular occurrence in Tenerife. Close by, the neighboring island of La Gomera is easily accessible for an interesting round of golf with stunning views across the Atlantic Ocean. Tenerife, the island of eternal spring, is unique with the original volcanic landscape that imprints complete character against the lush green courses. Many have bunkers full of black sand and are flanked by a variety of indigenous flora and fauna. Distances around the island are short and there are golf courses in the north as well as the south. SPORT: There is a gym at Beverly Hills Resort ( 2 mins) and Arona Grand Hotel (8mins) and a Diving Club at Las Galletas.
