This resort has activities all year round with summer sports including water skiing and boating and winter skiing is a few minutes away in Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Lake Arrowhead offers free summer concerts and Oktoberfest activities in the main village square.

Cozy and romantic cabin: The house has gorgeous views from all the three levels. The master bed room opens to a huge trex deck with a fabulous view of the lake as well. A swing is outside for romantic setting. The main area has another large deck with gas fired barbeque's and outdoor patio furniture for summer. The master bedroom has a nice retreat with French doors leading to the deck and has a wonderful view of the lake. Master bathroom has a nostalgic claw foot bathtub which can relax you as you getaway from the bustling city below.

Lake Arrowhead attractions: Lake Arrowhead offers open air theatre concerts by the village in Summer. There are numerous restaurants for lakeside dining. If you love shopping, Village has outlet stores featuring famous brands like Coach, Van Huesen, Bass, Geoffrey Beene among others. Village is a mere 5 minute drive from the cabin.

Nearby: The cabin is located very close to Cedar Glen shops (5 minute walk) which feature Grocery Store, Hardware store, antique shops, Restaurants etc. If you plan to stroll down to the lake, it also is a mere 5 minute walk. You have hiking trail all the way around the lake, if you are the outdoor type. The marina can be seen right from the house. The main road where the house is located is snow plowed by the city in winter for easy road access to the house.

Ski: Winter Skiing is a mere 30 minute drive to famous Snow Summit and Bear Mountain is just a few more minutes away.

Golf: Golfing is available by Grass Valley Lake.

Beautiful house with an equally beautiful view. We can't wait to stay there with the family again. The accommodations were great and much appreciated. Overall a cozy, warm and clean house - very welcoming.

lovely and clean

Well the house was lovely, and I am particular about cleanliness and I thought it was impeccable. Ana was very helpful and delightful to speak with. The balcony’s were very pretty with beautiful views but the main road it right below and you can hear the cars go by, also when the heater goes on at night you can hear that as well. But it warms the house right up, and there are small space heaters as well. There is everything you need in the house, and the third room (loft) has a pool table. The house is decorated nicely you can tell they care. The bedding is clean and pretty. And in town the Mexican restaurant is great.

The Perfect Working Retreat- even in off season

I had to work through my kids Spring Break and we thoroughly enjoyed this rental. There is a whole master suite downstairs where I set up my laptop (completely reliable high speed connection) and worked with an incredible lake view everyday until around 2 in the afternoon. The kids played boardgames and billiards, then we left to walk the dogs around the lake every afternoon. The lower deck is nicely set up (fenced in) for pets- we just brought their crates and they slept soundly under the upper deck. Some nice touches to note: very clean, owner followed up with us via email after our arrival to be sure everything was good, flowers and a huge bottle of wine that lasted us the whole week, "stuff" you might need during the various seasons (sled, extra blankets, extra lawn chairs, game tables etc.) There is a pretty dramatic stairway to get down to the home, so one thing to be aware of if there are small children or older folks with you.
