THE ENCHANTED INN / WATERFRONT PROPERTY

Having lived in the Clearwater area years ago, I was very familiar with the bungalows and cabanas down by the beach. Wanting to introduce my wife to Clearwater Beach, I did my research, saw the stellar reviews that the Enchanted Inn had, and decided to take a chance. I spoke to Ken, who was the friendliest person ever, and booked the only available room he had (it was a recent cancellation, so I was in luck). I wasn't expecting much, but when we arrived, my jaw dropped. Ken and his wonderful wife weren't kidding when they said that each unit was carefully renovated. We walked into what could have been mistaken for a luxury suite in Miami. Everything was beautifully decorated, with every modern amenity imaginable (lcd tv, new appliances, comfy king sized bed, etc.). Also, "clean" is an understatement. This place was spotless.

The views from our room were spectacular, and the building itself is about a 2 minute walk to the beach. Centrally located, near convenience stores, fine dining and plenty of shopping, we couldn't have asked for more! We only left 2 days ago and I've been a walking advertisement for the Enchanted Inn ever since. Our stay was relaxing, quiet, and most importantly fun. There was a cold front that had passed, so it wasn't ideal beach weather, but we definitely plan on coming back in the summer, to fully appreciate all Clearwater has to offer.

I can't recommend this place enough. The value alone is worth it, and the friendly atmosphere and attentiveness is worth twice that. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't want to leave!

Good location, short walk to beach, coin laundry. Trolley goes by in front of property, Try 551 restaurant at the Sand Key bridge. Our unit didn't have a full size refrigerator, as pictured. Nice shower. However, the pool is not heated!

Stayed here (room No 5) in August 2009. This was just what we were looking for. A spacious, clean and superbly situated place to stay. Ken and Pat were soooooo laid back and very helpful although we only saw them the once they were very friendly. The towels were changed once but we had plenty of them and we did buy some more loo rolls! (not the end of the world!)
The view is stunning and the balcony very spacious. Wonderful air-con, lashings of hot water. A huge fridge, microwave, and ceramic hob (no oven). It is a very short stroll to the wonderful beach and bars/restaurants. A car is not necessary as the 'Jolly Trolley' gows anywhere for $2. It goes to Publix supermarket too for all groceries but a car is necessary for anything further afield i,.e. Walmart!
All in all a very pleasant stay and would reccomend to anyone!!!
