Evergreen is a lovely mountain getaway located on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies in Townsend, TN. This cabin is situated on a large wooded lot that is quiet and private, yet convenient to all of the fun activities associated with the Great Smoky Mountains.

Evergreen is comfortably furnished with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing vacation. Downstairs there is a great room which includes family room, full service kitchen, and dining area. Also downstairs is one private bedroom with a king size bed, two person Jacuzzi, and full bath. The laundry room is located on the first floor. Upstairs is a loft with a queen size bed, daybed, private bedroom with a queen size bed, and full bath.

Sheets, towels, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and firewood are provided.

Whether snuggling up by the fireplace or sipping coffee on the front porch, Evergreen is an excellent choice for the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway

Evergreen is a lovely mountain getaway located on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies in Townsend, TN. Local attractions include a variety of outlet malls, OBER Gatilburg ski resort, Dollywood theme park and water park, and a variety of natural beauty including streams, rivers, waterfalls and caves.

I stayed for two nights with my boys ages 10 and 14 and from the minute we drove up it was like we were home. The cabin is very clean and very well stocked, especially the kitchen. The cabin is very private but doesn't feel isolated. Such a beautiful cozy place, and we love Townsend, it's so peaceful and close to the park.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great, secluded area

My mom, my girlfriend and I just got back from a "girls weekend out". We stayed in this cabin for 2 nights. It was Great!!! It was everything we wished it would be. We wanted privacy and no noise. We just wanted a weekend to relax away from our stressful jobs. We went to Gatlinburg on Friday night, to Dollywood on Saturday. It was a pleasant drive to both places. We got to rest and relax in our cabin. We will definitely be going back!!!

The owners were nice. However, be very careful when renting and read the contract carefully. No refunds are allowed for any reason.
This cabin is not like pictured. Also, one needs to be physically fit to rent this cabin. Due to the steep road and road into the cabin, a SVU would be a good idea. Also, the property is completely wooded and very dark. The furniture is well worn, the chairs and couch need to be replaced. The mattress also had some issues. The cabin was basically clean. I will say again, the owners were nice and did everthing in their power to be accomdating to us. It is a beautiful location in the mountains and good for relaxing and peaceful.

My family and I decided to rent a cabin this year instead of staying in a hotel,wow!this cabin was so nice and clean and it slept wonderful.I would highly recommend this cute cabin to anyone.thanks for creating so many wonderful family memories!

Fall Break 2008

Our family enjoyed Fall Break 2008 in this beautiful cabin. We were greeted with a note welcoming us and letting us know if we needed anything to just give the owners a call. There were plenty of linens, the kitchen was well stocked and the peaceful setting was perfect for a family getting away for the week. We ate breakfast every morning right there in the cabin and didn't have to fight the "pancake house" crowds. We have always stayed in Gatlinburg and fought the crowds every morning and then had to fight the traffic to get to Cades Cove. This home is just minutes away from Cades Cove and if you take the Rich Mountain Road out of the Cove it practically brings you right to the cabin! We certainly hope to stay in this home again in the future. You will not be disappointed in your stay. We rate this home 10+ on a scale of 10. Thanks for "welcoming us home away from our home".
